Story
Chico aka Winkie came to us from PACC where he was diagnosed with valley fever but is a champ at taking his pills and is doing great. He will require ongoing medication ($20-30 mo average) He will be getting cherry eye repair and neuter early next week and then should be adoption ready by the 30th. Chico is an extremely polite houseguest though he might be best in a semi active home in that he loves taking walks, and is great on a leash. He also enjoys his yard time and gets along great with other dogs but could be happy also as an only dog. Winkie is estimated as 8 years and 16 lbs Chico does tend to get underfoot and could have door dashing/escape tendencies so will need a secure home. Chico does fine in a crate though has excellent house manners and does not get into things he shouldn't, nor does he get on the furniture unless invited. Chico is fully housebroken and does not mark at all in the house or yard. Chico has adapted well to both foster homes (his PACC foster and his CTSS foster) so will likely do well adjusting to his forever home. Story
Callie is a new addition to the rescue but is being fast tracked because she seems like an incredible girl. She has been good with everyone she has met (2 legged and 4 legged). She is a "big boned girl at 23-24 lbs and could stand to lose at least 5 lbs so will need an adopter willing to work on healthy weight. She is spayed, chipped and current on vaccines. We are still awaiting bloodwork but not concerned as she seems lie a healthy young senior (estimated as 8 years) Callie walks nicely on leash, is housebroken (using dog door) and does fine in a crate though is also trustworthy to be left to roam free in the home. She is not an excessive barker and has a pretty easy going temperament! Her foster mom says that she is a VERY good girl!! Callie should be adoption ready by 1/23 so please submit application HERE >>> https://form.jotform.com/cherishedtails/dog-application.

Story
Jerome came to us from PACC and he has been getting healthier and feeling better in his foster home. He was diagnosed with valley fever but is responding well to treatment and no longer coughing. He is estimated at 4 years old and is around 13 lbs. Jerome is mostly housebroken and is learning the routine in his foster. He is really good with other dogs and seems to like having another friend to follow around. He is reserved with strangers but does warm fairly quickly and shows no nippiness. Jerome seems like a sensitive soul who has had some loss and sadness in his life. and would likely prefer a less chaotic household. Jerome does well in a crate and is very quiet so could likely work in a condo or apartment setting though would need work for pottying on a leash. Jerome is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Jerome is coming out of his shell and is becoming more playful (loves toys) and has shown some "puppy like behaviors" (such as stealing socks) If you would be interested in meeting this handsome man submit an application HERE >>> https://form.jotform.com/cherishedtails/dog-application
