Story
Johnny can be shy at first, but warms up quick. He wants to always be with his people and needs a family who is mostly at home. He would make a great sleeping buddy! He's enjoying chewing antlers and playing with a small tennis ball in his foster home, and he doesn't seem to mind the other dogs after a slow, controlled meet. Johnny will potty outside or on pee pads. No small kiddos for this guy. He is untested with cats as well. He would benefit from an experienced dog owner who can keep him in check and help him be the best dog he can be.

Story
Texas adoption only Bramble is the ultimate companion dog for your dog that you didn't know you need. He is a happy adult dog, 17# scruffy little terrier, who loves to cuddle & play with other dogs. He is also fine with the company of cats. Humans though, take longer to earn his trust due to Bramble's traumatic past. With patience & time, he will eventually come up to you for gentle head pets...as long as you don't look at him! He is enthusiastic about food, will take treats from your hand, likes routine. Although timid, he is NOT a biter. He even occasionally enjoys bathing & brushing. Bramble is so deserving of a safe & loving home with at least one doggie buddy. Is that home yours? Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Story
Meet "Ramblin" Rose. She is a sweet one year old Cavapoo rescued from a commercial breeder. She got her name, because 20 min. after the foster brought her home she slipper her collar, and escaped through a open spot under the fence. She gone for 3 days until she was caught with the help of Berks Dog Search, fellow Volunteers and her fosters wonderful neighbors. Needless to say, she will need in a secure fenced in secure yard as her requirement. She is tiny at only 8lbs, and is so cute. She has fallen in Love with her foster mom, and is her shadow side. She Loves to be snuggled and lay on your lap. Her fosters love to give her hugs and kisses , which she returns! Rosie will need regular grooming, ideally every 6 to eight weeks, and regular brushing. She is starting to act her age and get more playful, but really gets nervous and shy around new people. She will need a very patient adopter to be patient and earn her trust. We suggest no children under the age of 6 because of how shy she is and loud noises can spook her. Housetraining is going pretty well, she just consistently with taking her out in her new home. She will also use a pee pad if available. She sleeps in her crate thru the night w/o a peep. The foster is working on her eating habits, she can be very finicky, but is very treat motivated. She is spayed, on preventatives, microchipped and UTD on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $550. She is available to apply through our website: zoeshouserescue.com. Please contact Darlene at 302-312-5129 (fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.  This dog is located in Newark, DE. Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 302-312-5129 (text or call) or via email at fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permanent homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. &#226&#128&#139 April 26, 2024, 6:57 pm
