Story
Welcome Logan to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 10 pound 3 to 4 month old Schnoodle (Schnauzer/Poodle) This pup is adorable with shorter legs than the other pups in this litter. He has a thicker frame and is very alert and lower energy than the siblings. He has a wavy coat and the look of a schnauzer in the face. The lady trimmed some of them so we think they will or may have a longer beard when it grows out. He is one of the biggest sized ones in the litter. He is not a shedding pup. He will need grooming to stay beautiful. He is smart and all the pups are very very affectionate. He is outgoing and adorable. We think he will not be bigger than 20 pounds full grown. She would be best in a home of a person that is not gone all day at work. He will need to finish up his puppy training and to be with his human for all the beautiful socialization to make him a well-rounded adult. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He currently is good in a crate and good with his siblings. He goes potty on a potty pad and loves being held. He would be good with someone who doesn’t want a shedding dog and one that is smart and easier to train. We would love someone who has had the schnauzer or poodle breed as they know all the lovely characteristics of this breed. We are a small group and these puppies will get lots of applications. We ask that you are patient while we assess for the best fitting home. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See his cute video!!

*EXPERIENCE OWNING DOGS THAT NEED REGULAR PROFEESIONAL GROOMING IS REQUIRED!* Meet our adorable little lady named Pixel! Pixel is about 6 years old and she was surrendered to our shelter because her owner could no longer care for her and the other dogs in the home. Pixel and 3 other dogs were surrendered to us at the same time. We are told they are all Poodle and Schnauzer mixes. The other 3, that you can see in some of the photos, are her female daughters and her male companion that she has always lived with. Pixel is a very happy and playful little dog who loves everyone! She is fine being picked up and carried around. She only weighs about 10 lbs and she is fully grown. Pixel and the others all have hair that will need regular professional grooming. We are requiring any potential adopters have experience owning dogs that need this. Pixel is good with dogs and cats. She can go to a home with children 10 years old and older. Pixel can be adopted into the same home with any of the other dogs she came in to our shelter with. If you are interested in adopting Pixel Please Email us at Adopt@savingpawsct.org for an application! Her adoption fee is $75.00. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM FOLDER! MAC IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK (M-F 8-4pm) (Sat-Sun 10-4pm) Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. Appts to meet dogs can made to suit your schedule, please email/call for an appt. We do prefer to be contacted by email for adoption inquiries at Adopt@savingpawsct.org. The office phone number is 203-235-4179. Leave a message, and someone will call you back promptly. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM FOLDER! You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal. Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments. ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
