Story
This unbelievably sweet, snuggly little muppet is Ellington! He’s a very loving boy who was sadly neglected in his prior home. When volunteers met him they couldn’t believe what a snuggly sweet boy he is, and everyone was eager to ensure this boy got all the love and care he’s surely been longing for for so long. Ellington is 6 years old and weighs 21 lbs. He began heading to the vets right away. It was visibly clear he is visually impaired and eye treatment began. Unfortunately one eye was too far gone from infection and needed to be removed. Vision in his remaining eye is also limited, but that doesn’t hold him back from being the happiest, most grateful, loving boy! He’s had all vaccines completed, deworming, heartworm tested negative, he’s current on preventative, and he’s now neutered as well as microchipped. He has also had a dental just completed and is now ready to move on to his dream home! This boy is a very easy going, gentle, loving, snuggly companion. He is so resilient, even though he’s visually disabled, he has remained fantastic with all other animals, and reliably goes potty outside! He will go on a pee pad if you’d like him to, but has a preference of going outdoors. He is truly a wonderfully easy guy to love. His favorite thing is to be able to snuggle up in the sofa and in bed with you. He’s fabulous with other dogs as well as cats, and will do great in any combination of animals, or as an only pet. He’s just primarily looking for parents who would like an easy going, cuddly, gentle, cheerful lap dog and devoted companion. He is a mellow, cheerful, friendly, sweet little muppet who gets along with everyone. His big dream is just love. He would love easy going parents who just want a tender sweet soul to love. He’ll take walks or go for car rides, but he doesn’t make demands. He’s just as happy snuggled up on the sofa with you watching a movie or resting in your lap while you read or work on the computer. He craves peace, love, warmth, stability and loyalty- and in return he’ll be the kindest, most devoted best friend you could find. Story
Meet me at 348 Old Colony Rd. Eastford, CT Meet Ralphie. He was surrendered to the shelter as a poodle/setter mix along with his brother. He's a sweet boy who needs some confidence and leash work. He's adorable, funny, bouncy, active and would excel in a home able to give him training, room to exercise, and a lifetime commitment. Due to MA Dept of Agriculture restrictions, we can not adopt to MA residents.

Story
Meet me at 348 Old Colony Rd. Eastford, CT Adorable little Randy was surrendered to the shelter by his owner, who called him 8ball. Ya well, need we say more? He was promptly renamed Randy. We were told he and his brother were poodle/setter mixes. He's a sweet boy who needs some confidence and leash work, but he's as cute as can be. He's funny, bouncy, active and would excel in a home able to give him training, room to exercise, and a real new name that isn't 8ball. Due to MA Dept of Agriculture restrictions, we can not adopt to MA residents.

Story
Welcome Logan to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 10 pound 3 to 4 month old Schnoodle (Schnauzer/Poodle) This pup is adorable with shorter legs than the other pups in this litter. He has a thicker frame and is very alert and lower energy than the siblings. He has a wavy coat and the look of a schnauzer in the face. The lady trimmed some of them so we think they will or may have a longer beard when it grows out. He is one of the biggest sized ones in the litter. He is not a shedding pup. He will need grooming to stay beautiful. He is smart and all the pups are very very affectionate. He is outgoing and adorable. We think he will not be bigger than 20 pounds full grown. She would be best in a home of a person that is not gone all day at work. He will need to finish up his puppy training and to be with his human for all the beautiful socialization to make him a well-rounded adult. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He currently is good in a crate and good with his siblings. He goes potty on a potty pad and loves being held. He would be good with someone who doesn’t want a shedding dog and one that is smart and easier to train. We would love someone who has had the schnauzer or poodle breed as they know all the lovely characteristics of this breed. We are a small group and these puppies will get lots of applications. We ask that you are patient while we assess for the best fitting home. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
