Meet Cheyenne, a gentle soul who is ready to leave her difficult past behind. This sweet 12-pound Poodle mix was found on the streets in terrible shape, and while we estimate she is about 2 years old, her exact age is a bit of a mystery. Cheyenne is understandably shy at first, but once she realizes she is safe, she warms up beautifully. Because of her rough start, she is still learning that the world isn't such a scary place, and she is looking for a very specific kind of forever home to help her flourish. One of Cheyenne’s quirks is that she is quite nervous about walking on a leash—unless she has a confident doggy friend to follow! Because she looks to other dogs for courage, we believe she would do best in a home with a kind, steady canine sibling who can show her the ropes. If you have a peaceful home and a friendly dog who wouldn't mind a little shadow, Cheyenne might be your perfect match. Hello, World! I’m Lucky! 🐾 ​Stop scrolling, because your new co-pilot has arrived! I’m a 2-year-old, all-white Poodle mix, and while I’m a bit on the skinny side right now at 40 lbs, I’m working hard on my "rescue glow-up" and plan on filling out beautifully with a few more treats. I’m what my foster calls a "high-voltage" kind of guy—I’m basically a social butterfly powered by a lightning bolt! I’ll happily run circles around you in the yard until my battery finally hits 1%, and then I am 100% dedicated to serious snuggling. ​I should probably tell you that I have very high standards when it comes to my "office" space. I’m fully potty trained, but I’m a bit of a lawn connoisseur; I only accept the finest grass (natural or artificial) for his business. Dirt or gravel? No thank you! A refined gentleman has a reputation to uphold, after all. ​When I’m not inspecting the local greenery, you can usually find me in the car. I’m a professional passenger and I strongly prefer the front seat so I can keep an eye on the road just like a human. I’m still practicing my "zen" in my crate and working on my leash manners—I just get so excited to meet new besties that I tend to pull! The best part is that my friends at the rescue want to help me become the best boy ever, so basic training group classes are included with my adoption to help me master my leash walking and more! ​I absolutely adore humans of all sizes, but since I’m surprisingly strong for a "skinny lil guy," I might accidentally play a game of "bowling for toddlers," so I’d do best with kids who are sturdy on their feet. I would be perfectly happy as your one-and-only, but I’d truly thrive with a fur-brother or sister to help me keep my social calendar full. Domino would do best in a home without small children and would prefer to be the only dog, though she can coexist with another calm dog as more of a “hang-out buddy” rather than a playmate. Domino does have some medical needs, but they are very manageable with the right food and proper care—and she handles her routine like a champ! She’s a low-key lady who loves to sleep, cuddle, and relax with her people. Daily walks are a must—she absolutely loves her walkies and looks forward to them every day ❤️ Domino is looking for a peaceful home where she can feel safe, loved, and understood.
