Meet Curly!

Curly is a tenderhearted 2-year-old who weighs just 9 pounds. He is heartworm and Chagas negative... He is shy and I do not think people were very nice to him. He was found on the streets .... He doesn't appear to have a mean bone in his body but makes us corner him to pick him up. He lets us love on him but he always has a worried look on his face. When we are outside with the dogs, he will hang back and watch us or come up and give a nose boop. He wants to trust... I feel he will thrive in a home that is quiet and less chaotic than the rescue. He needs a patient, kind human who will make him feel safe. Curley gets along well with other dogs here at the rescue. 

Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip

Story
Remy is an adorable little poodle mix from the Rio Grande Valley. He is 13 lbs, apt 2 yrs old and is Heartworm and Chagas negative. He came to Tracy’s Paws after being owner-surrendered and unwanted, and he has been nothing but a joy since the day he arrived. Remy is a total love bug...friendly, affectionate, and full of happy energy. He enjoys people, loves attention, and gets along well with other dogs. He does like to be the boss, but he coexists beautifully in his group and is currently paired with a larger dog, which is what we recommend for him. He would fit wonderfully into most families, including those with other dogs, as long as his canine companions are a bit bigger than he is. Remy has been an excellent boy here at the rescue and is more than ready for a home of his own. You can apply for him online.
