Story
Hi- my name is Cranberry! My sisters and I were turned into an overcrowded county shelter as an unwanted litter. Thankfully, the kind people at Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue heard about us and offered to take us in. They are now helping each of us find our very own families!I am about 4 months old and weighed in at 24 lbs at the end of December - I look like a Scottish terrier mix, best guess. I am an active puppy and will do best with a fairly active family. I am learning to walk on leash now; I just know we can work together to help me learn good manners and everything! My adoption fee of $450 includes all my vetting that has been done up to date. That’s vet exam, vaccinations, deworming and monthly preventatives, microchip and spay.If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. If you'd like to experience all the love I have, and want to make me part of your family, please complete the adoption application by pasting this link into your browser: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sm2546&method=online_form_html&formid=21

Story
Hi- my name is Dorothy. I'm an adorable little scruffy terrier estimated at 3 years old and weighing around 12 lbs. I appear to be a Cairn and/or Border Terrier mix, but that is my rescue's best guess. I was surrendered by my owner with 3 other buddies because my owner couldn’t take care of us any longer. We were in pretty ruff shape and very scared! All the great people here at the rescue have spent the last two months helping us learn how to trust humans and be good girls. I am a little shy at first; but once we get to know each other, I am very sweet and cuddly! I like playing with toys and walk pretty good on leash now. I get along quite well with other dogs, and have been good with the kittens here at the rescue too.My $450 adoption fee includes vet exam, up to date vaccines, spay, deworming and preventatives while in our care, heartworm test (negative) and microchip. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete a free, non-binding application at www.gofar.dog under Adopt. If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. Story
Onyx is a three year old giant schnauzer that is new to the rescue. He's still in rehabilitation, so almost ready for adoption, but we're accepting applications for when he's ready. Onyx LOVES toys and getting lots of exercise, he's a big boy that loves to play! He's also good with other dogs too, has not been tested around cats.Onyx prefers a home with females, so would do best in a home without men. Because of his active nature, a home without children would be best. We need an adopter who will be patient, Onyx needs time to warm up to you and someone who will follow up with his training. An adopter with giant schnauzer or similar breed experience is required, Onyx requires someone that will understand his behavior and grooming needs took ensure the best forever home. If you think Onyx would be a good fit for your home and would like to learn more about him, please apply today.
