Letting go of Oscar is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. He’s been by my side since 2019—a sweet, quirky Scottish Fold with a big heart and quiet personality. He’s been the perfect companion to me and my wife, always nearby, always full of love—once he trusts you. Oscar is a shy cat at first. He tends to hide when new people come around, but if you give him time and space, you’ll be rewarded with his affection. He loves belly rubs, brushing sessions, and curling up next to you at night. He’s never been aggressive with humans—only gentle, loyal, and affectionate. Why We’re Rehoming Him Oscar doesn’t get along with our other cat. The problems started during COVID when his neutering had to be delayed. Since then, his aggression toward our other cat has never gone away, despite our best efforts. We’ve kept them in separate areas of the house for years, rotated their time with us, and given them equal love and care. But it’s reached a point where keeping them apart…

Ernest entered Baldwin Park as a stray, and sadly, no one claimed him. We welcomed him as a Frosted Feline on February 10th. Ernest is estimated to be 12 years old and weighs 12 lbs. PERSONALITY: Porsche is a quiet-natured kitty who is reserved but also curious. She loves to be petted and will arch her back against your hand and do an “elevator butt” with her floofy tail going up. While not a clingy cat, Porsche will come relax next to you at times and is a companionable presence in the same room. She likes cozy caves and cubbies as well as high perches. Porsche needs some time and patience as she adjusts to new circumstances, and will do best with a special guardian who will entice her out with fun interactive toys and tasty treats. She is a gentle and mellow girl with an endearing sweetness.COMPATIBILITY: Porsche really likes younger cats who invite her into play; she thrives when she has that connection and must have a kitty buddy in her new home. She wasn’t bothered by the dogs in her foster home. Porsche would do best in an adult home or one with calm and understanding teens who recognize her need to adjust and give her encouragement as she gets to know her specific people.
