Story
Mila’s love languages are play and food. Give her a wand toy—especially one with a fuzzy worm or rabbit-fur mouse—and she will absolutely come alive. Her speed, agility, and natural hunting instincts are truly impressive. She plays with her whole heart until she’s happily worn out, and she considers treats and wet food among the greatest joys in life. Mila may start out shy in new environments, but once she feels safe, her sweet and affectionate personality shines through. If you forget to give her attention, she will politely remind you with her signature “Mila flop”—a dramatic collapse right in front of you, which brings with it an unmistakable request for pets. She also has the tendency to show her belly. With trust Mila even welcomes soft little belly rubs. However, her favorite scritches are behind the ears and along her neck, which are rewarded with loud purrs and happy wiggles. Mila does take time to adjust, but the bond she builds is deeply rewarding and well worth the patience. Mila is also striking in appearance, with the sweetest face, folded ears, and beautiful golden-yellow eyes. Her coat is equally unique, shifting between deep brown and black depending on the light, with a soft smoky undercoat. She is truly one of a kind, with bowed front legs and a uniquely twisted back leg—features that only add to her charm, character, and undeniable presence. Mila’s orthopedic condition is currently stable and does not interfere with her daily life or her ability to play, explore, and enjoy herself. She is fully able to participate in all things cats love.  Like all Scottish Folds, Mila carries a genetic mutation responsible for her folded ears. This same mutation can be associated with joint and cartilage issues later in life. Because of this, a joint supplement is recommended to help support long-term comfort and mobility. Given her breed and existing skeletal differences, she may also require pain management earlier in life than the average cat. Mila has so much to offer the right home. She is playful, expressive, and full of quiet potential. With patience, understanding, and love, she won’t just settle in—she will truly shine.
