Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You’ll be able to meet available cats in the shelter. (Cats in foster care are not available for in-person visits.) #2- ADOPT REMOTELY OR PLACE A 24-HOUR HOLD** If you’re ready to adopt without meeting the cat first, or you’d like to place a non-refundable $25 hold to reserve a cat for 24 hours, just call or email us: (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org. Cindy Lou is a young adult kitty with a gentle heart who has come a long way since her arrival. She was surrendered to us when a kind citizen found herself overwhelmed with too many cats. At first, Cindy Lou was unsure of what was happening and wasnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153 t interested in attentionâ&#194&#128&#194&#148but with time and patience, she has truly blossomed.Now, Cindy Lou loves affection and will happily thank you for ear rubs with sweet head bops and adorable nose boops. While we havenâ&#194&#128&#194&#153 t seen her play much yet, we expect her playful side to emerge once sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s fully settled into her new home and feeling safe and secure.Cindy Lou arrived with her friends Grinch, Stitch, and Princess.
