Story
Luna - Female DOB 12/20/2019 Domestic Medium Hair - Dilute Tortoiseshell Looking for the moon to match your stars? Luna might be your girl. Luna came to us after her previous family wasn’t able to care for her or give her the attention she needed. The transition has been a lot for her, so she’s taking her time getting comfortable in a new place. She can be unsure at first, but with a calm approach she relaxes and enjoys attention.  Now that Luna has settled in more with time, she will walk around the floor talking to you to come give her some pets and rub up against you. Luna isn’t aggressive at all—she has no bite or scratch to her—but she does have her own sweet way of communicating. If she’s unsure or has had enough, she may give a quick paw tap to say, “I need a minute.” She’s looking for a patient, cat-savvy person who can read those signals and let her set the pace. When you do, she relaxes more and more. Just like people, Luna loves sunny windows, quiet rooms, and predictable routines. From the way she responds, it feels like she may have had some hard moments before she got here, so she needs a home that moves slowly and kindly while she builds trust. Luna does not enjoy other cats and will need to be your only pet. No dogs and no children — just a calm household where she can settle in and feel safe.
