CHRISSIE is phenomenal. This 1 year old girl can simply be described as a caretaker of everyone. She is birth mom to Gracie but took in Haley when her own mom was not able to care for when just a few days old. She raised her as her own. Here at PTR this loving girl is surrounded by oodles of kittens that she wants to wash and care for...it is quite an amazing thing to witness. We would love for her to get adopted with one of her babies. CHRISSIE is exceptionally loving and affectionate. She literally melts in your arms and is a total lap kitty...a constant companion that wants to be with you all the time. Extremely gentle and caring with a heart of gold. Chrissie is strikingly gorgeous with a soft dilute muted multi-colored coat. Just a baby herself at just a year old. Chrissie will bond immediately with her family and offer a lifetime of love and compassion to her new family. Meet Taki! Taki and Wasabi were found together at 7 weeks old. They were feisty at first but they are now starting to come around. Both are a bit nervous still, but they both love to play with toys and each other! Taki is a bit more curious than Wasabi, but both Taki and Wasabi will need an adjustment period after adoption. A home without very young kids under 12 years or rambunctious young dogs would probably be best. This handsome orange and white feline is Sunny! Sunny is a very nice cat who is looking for a quiet home. He can be very shy around new people or in a new environment, and his new family will need to give him time to adjust and trust them. Once Sunny gets settled he can be a very sweet cat and enjoys being pet; he may even start purring for you! He seems to enjoy the company of other cats, and he probably wouldn't mind having a kitty friend in his new home. Sunny isn't a huge fan of being picked up, but he might tolerate it for short periods of time once he gets to know you. But that doesn’t mean she’s afraid to have a wrestling match and show her foster siblings that pretty girls can be tough too. She plays well with other young active cats, and has learned to respect the older cats and dogs in her foster home. She loves to play with all sorts of toys and is always excited about snacks, which she will often demand with her sassy, creaky meow. She also enjoys lounging around with her foster mom, being petted and told how beautiful she is. Apple is the princess of her foster home but she is ready to be the queen of her own kingdom. Hi, I'm Bailey! You're in luck, I just happen to be a special older gal, and I'm available for adoption here at ARL! I have a sweet and gentle personality, and it sort of hides behind a hardened exterior. I'm looking for a home that will give me nothing but love for whatever time I have left in this life. I'm what the shelter lovingly refers to, as a "touch to activate" cat. I'm an extreme sucker for chin scratches, and I will almost instantly start purring as a result of them. I practically melt into your hands and by this point, hearts are usually melting for me too! I'm a sweetheart, and a complete softie! I just like hanging out with you all the time. Unfortunately though, old age comes with slight dilemmas. I'm a hospice girl, a "give me everything you got, celebrate every single day" sort of girl. Thyroid regulation problems, are taking a toll on my liver and kidneys. I will need frequent bloodwork done to manage my levels accordingly. A quite retirement home, would be so helpful for me. Our handsome boy has many names because he has many wonderful and fun personalities to get to know.  His official birth name is Tobias but lovingly called Toe-Beans or Toby, is what he is most often called.  This handsome grey tabby boy that is 5 years old and weighs 10 pounds is as sweet and cuddly as he is handsome.  The reason this wonderful cat needs a new home is that he is living in a house with busy children and other cats that just stress him out.  Because of this he suffers from anxiety that regularly causes him to have crystals in his urine. But once he relaxes, he wants to be at your feet, in your lap, and getting his belly rubbed. He has never lashed out and is very gentle with children but children are busy and activity in a home with young children is probably a stimulant for the urine crystals.  Toby has all of his vaccinations and aside from urinary issues, is very healthy. He loves belly rubs, snacks, and being in the bathroom while you shower.  He is a true companion cat that just needs the focus and solitude of being someone’s ONE AND ONLY CAT. He does not like dogs, people knocking at the front door, or strangers in the house. This boy is just a bit of a loving recluse and loner from too many activities and people moving through his home.  He is totally healthy except for occasional crystals which we know come from the stress of too much coming into his environment.  We know there are many people that can relate to this need in their life.
