Eight year old Boris (longhair), and 7 year old Marcell (shorthair) are two Scottish Fold buddies looking for a new home together.Boris is a genial and relaxed cat who loves playtime. While he's not particularly fussy and isn't aggressive towards people, he can have limited tolerance for being brushed. He's braver than Marcell and likes exploring and sitting/lying in the sun. He's not as much of a lap-cat as Marcell, but he loves the company of people and likes being pet. He has no issues with people, but he and Marcell (Boris in particular) have a habit of bullying other cats together, so they should not be homed with other cats. Boris LOVES to play and loves to chase toys.Marcell can be a little shy and skittish at first, but once he gets used to you he's a hog for attention. He loves being brushed and often demands pets from people he's comfortable with, and he's also fond of climbing into laps. Despite his short legs, he's able to jump onto couches and low tables with little issue. While he enjoys playing with wand toys, he's not as adventurous as Boris and generally prefers to stick to people/Boris.Their owner is no longer able to care for them, and a friend is helping them find the Scots a new home. I`m Wilburt, a 1-year-old Scottish Fold, and yes...I AM VERY PRETTY.Snow-white coat.Fancy little face.Scottish Fold good looks.I`ve got the whole package.Please take a moment.I`LL WAIT. ??I came from a home with...Well...A LOT OF CATS.And not just regular cats.There were LOTS AND LOTS of other Scottish Folds.Apparently most cats don`t grow up surrounded by an entire convention of cats who look vaguely related to them?News to me.But there was definitely one advantage to my extremely feline-heavy upbringing:I KNOW CATS.I am VERY socially experienced when it comes to my own species.Sharing space?Been there.Cat roommates?PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE.Feline social dynamics?I practically have a degree.So if you already have cats at home and you`re looking to add another friendly little guy to the mix, I could be a fantastic candidate!And thankfully, I`m not only good with cats.I LIKE PEOPLE TOO!I`m a friendly, sweet boy who`s ready to leave my former crowded life behind and find a family where I can finally get some more individualized attention.Honestly, I don`t think I`m going to be available for very long.I mean...LOOK AT ME.But before you get completely distracted by my fancy appearance, there is something important to remember.Scottish Folds can be prone to breed-related medical problems, particularly involving their cartilage and joints. Hi, I’m Pancho! I`m Pancho, a 7-month-old Scottish Fold, and I`m basically a little snowball with legs.And folded ears.And a face.Okay, perhaps the snowball comparison has some limitations.But I am VERY WHITE. ??I`m also ridiculously sweet! I love people, get along wonderfully with other animals, and am generally the kind of easygoing young cat who could fit into all sorts of families.I`m still only seven months old, so I`ve got plenty of young-cat life and fun ahead of me. I`m ready for toys, attention, adventures around the house, cozy naps, and finally having a family to call my own.At the moment, I`m being treated for an eye infection, and I`ll go home with medication that my adopter will need to continue as directed.There`s also some important Scottish Fold fine print. These 2 came to us over the summer with their mom & 2 siblings - mom was a pet who was returned once the babies were weaned & she was spayed & the other 2 did not survive. Dewey - is a girl, for the first 2 months we thought her back fluff was something else! 😑 Dewey is a firecracker who loves to play rough with the boys! She will run & divebomb all of the other cats without a second thought and has no problem inviting herself with whoever she wants to whenever she wants to & she has such a sweet and affectionate side with her human friends. Louie - the sweetest, most gentle, softest little gremlin to ever exist! Louie is an absolute dream who adores humans and sleeps on my pillow every single night. All you need to do is look at him and he’ll start to purr and he has no problem being held & cuddled like a baby. Honestly these 2 have been an absolute dream to raise and the thought of giving them up makes me tear up, but it’s time & this is the goal! They are around 5 months old & MUST be adopted together (no exceptions). *While they may be fun to look at, genetically their litter was a mess so we are looking for an adopter who is willing and able to deal with inevitable genetic issues that may come up throughout their lives. The parents are siblings. Louie is an identical the mama & the father looked like a traditional Scottish fold and we don’t know where Dewey & all her fluff & tuft came from! The runt was Squeaks and she lived to be about 5 weeks old but never grew past the size of a 2 weeker. Huey was their sibling who looked like a Scottish fold & passed very suddenly from some type of spontaneous rupture around 9 weeks. He was playing one minute & gone the next so they need an adopter willing to be diligent about their health and get them the vet care they need if issues arise.* I was petrified to put these 2 under anesthesia knowing they could be at a higher risk due to their inbred genetics but they did just fine & are now fixed, UTD on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, & ready to go! They have been raised around other cats, my large senior dog, & my toddler so they are very well adjusted!
