Meet Arya!Our sweet Scottish fold Arya is looking for a furever home! While her adorable owl-like appearance is hard to resist, she is in need of a family who can support her ongoing needs as a "purebred" cat. Arya was surrendered to RBARI with a large amount of bladder stones, which required surgery to remove. Going forward she will need to be on a prescription urinary diet to prevent this from happening again, and lucky she loves the food! In addition, Arya will require an owner who understands the breed and is aware of their medical needs. Scottish folds are prone to cartilage issues, and as they age their caritlage tends to slowly deteriorate, therefore requiring arthritis supplements etc. If Arya seems like a good fit for you, apply to come meet her!
