Story
This handsome, orange guy is the other half of the Jimmy/Riff duo. Riff’s backstory is that both he and Jimmy were living outside of a colony in the north of Toronto and had been fed by a caring member of the public for their entire life. Their feeder was leaving Toronto and needed to be retrieved from their colony, as there was no replacement feeder for them to turn to.While Riff is shyer than his colony mate, Jimmy, he has made strides in becoming more social, especially around mealtime. During that time of day when his foster parent is preparing his meal and walking by him, he will give a cute little swat to his foster parent’s leg every time they walk by. Just before he eats and while he is eating, you can easily pet him and give him scratches. He enjoys lying on the blanket on the sofa and having naps. Riff also has a playful side; he likes to chase the other cats in his foster home, as well as play with his crinkle waffle toy. He will also approach you for pets if you sit on the floor to play with him or feed him treats.Riff`s litter box habits are excellent; he is fed twice a day to maintain a healthy weight. He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. He is also FIV and feline leukemia negative. Additionally, he had a dental cleaning in November 2024.He gets along well with the other cats in his foster home, especially his colony mate Jimmy. His foster parent thinks that once he is in a home with just Jimmy and himself, and maybe another cat, he will come out of his shell more and become an even sweeter cat.

Story
Meet Ivy, the fluffiest little mischief-maker you’ll ever love!If you’ve ever wanted a cat who is equal parts adorable, snuggly-in-her-own-way, and just a hint of trouble…look no further. Ivy is a total sweetheart who loves attention. She’ll gently tap your arm with a polite little paw when she’d like more pets. She goes full bliss-mode for head and ear scratches, and absolutely loves being brushed. Hit the right spot and you`ll be rewarded with air biscuits! She adores cozy hiding spots, midnight zoomies, staying hydrated, and loves her crunchy kibble but not as much as her churu treats. Despite her late-night shenanigans, she’s too polite to wake you up for breakfast. This tiny queen specializes in dramatic toilet paper unrolling performances and pretending your houseplants are a personal salad bar. But with a face that cute? Honestly, she gets away with everything. She may be shy at first and take a while to warm up but once she does, she`ll be the most gentle, snuggle bug. Although shy with humans, Ivy is a confident, social butterfly with other cats! She would do well in a home with a friendly feline buddy to play with and show her the ropes. If you’re looking for a lovable, fluffy companion who will fill your home with entertainment, affection, and a dash of spirited silliness, Ivy is your girl!Ivy has mild gingivitis and would benefit from a dental diet or tooth brushing. Like all ACR cats, Ivy is up-to-date on vaccines and has been treated for fleas and parasites.

Story
Meet Houdini – The Energetic Explorer with a Sweet SideHoudini is a six-month-old bundle of curiosity, energy, and affection. Handled by humans since he was just a week old, he’s incredibly comfortable around people and loves being part of the action. True to his name, Houdini has never met a nook or cranny that he wasn’t eager to explore—his adventurous spirit keeps life entertaining! When he’s not exploring, Houdini is usually wrestling enthusiastically with his brother or zooming around with his littermates. Once the play session winds down, you’ll find him curled up with them—or tucked into your arms—purring contentedly.Houdini is highly food-motivated (he can turn a CatIt treat into a full-on wrestling match!) and thrives on playtime and companionship. Because he has so much energy and loves the company of other cats, Houdini should be adopted with one of his littermates or into a home with another young, playful cat.For all his shenanigans, Houdini is a sweet, affectionate boy who adores pets, cuddles, and human attention. If you’re looking for a lively kitten who will make you laugh and love you fiercely, Houdini is your guy.Houdini must be adopted with Bear or as a buddy to a friendly resident cat.Like all ACR cats, Houdini is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been treated for fleas and parasites.
