Story
These 2 came to us over the summer with their mom & 2 siblings - mom was a pet who was returned once the babies were weaned & she was spayed & the other 2 did not survive. Dewey - is a girl, for the first 2 months we thought her back fluff was something else! 😑 Dewey is a firecracker who loves to play rough with the boys! She will run & divebomb all of the other cats without a second thought and has no problem inviting herself with whoever she wants to whenever she wants to & she has such a sweet and affectionate side with her human friends. Louie - the sweetest, most gentle, softest little gremlin to ever exist! Louie is an absolute dream who adores humans and sleeps on my pillow every single night. All you need to do is look at him and he’ll start to purr and he has no problem being held & cuddled like a baby. Honestly these 2 have been an absolute dream to raise and the thought of giving them up makes me tear up, but it’s time & this is the goal! They are around 5 months old & MUST be adopted together (no exceptions). *While they may be fun to look at, genetically their litter was a mess so we are looking for an adopter who is willing and able to deal with inevitable genetic issues that may come up throughout their lives. The parents are siblings. Louie is an identical the mama & the father looked like a traditional Scottish fold and we don’t know where Dewey & all her fluff & tuft came from! The runt was Squeaks and she lived to be about 5 weeks old but never grew past the size of a 2 weeker. Huey was their sibling who looked like a Scottish fold & passed very suddenly from some type of spontaneous rupture around 9 weeks. He was playing one minute & gone the next so they need an adopter willing to be diligent about their health and get them the vet care they need if issues arise.* I was petrified to put these 2 under anesthesia knowing they could be at a higher risk due to their inbred genetics but they did just fine & are now fixed, UTD on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, & ready to go! They have been raised around other cats, my large senior dog, & my toddler so they are very well adjusted! Apply for them using the link below! *we know they’ll have a ton of interest so we will choose the best fit for them* https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HOTC/Cat

Story
Lola is a quiet gray tabby beauty — the kind of cat who feels like a healer wrapped in fur. She’s an adult mama cat, likely around two years old, and is believed to have once lived life as a barn cat. She’s the kind of soul who leaves you wondering where she began and what she’s seen along the way. Lola has known loss, and somehow she’s turned that experience into deep gentleness and devotion. She forms a strong, meaningful bond with her person, offering comfort through steady, soothing purrs and constant companionship. You’ll often find her curled up on you or trailing behind you from room to room like a loyal little shadow. She’s exceptionally smart, loves to play fetch, and communicates in the softest ways — gentle trills instead of loud meows. With her wild, native-cat beauty and signature white mittens, Lola feels both untamed and deeply nurturing all at once. Lola thrives as an indoor cat, where she can soak up affection and return it tenfold. She does well with other cats. Her comfort level with dogs is still unknown, so she would do best in a calm, respectful environment if dogs are present. Lola isn’t just a pet — she’s a soul companion, perfect for someone seeking quiet connection, healing, and unconditional presence. If you’re ready to welcome a “healing cat” into your life, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Lola is ready to sign up for the life journey with you.                  March 7, 2026, 12:24 pm

Story
Hi there! I’m Peach — a sweet, mellow 2–3 year old girl who has officially retired from motherhood and is ready to be someone’s one and only baby. I raised a whole crew of kittens and did a fantastic job, but now it’s my turn to enjoy head scratches, playtime, and a peaceful home of my own.   I’m the kind of cat who greets my foster mom at the door every day, rolls around on the floor just because it feels good, and makes the cutest little noises whenever the mood strikes. Lounging on a comfy couch is one of my favorite pastimes, preferably after a bit of play or a nice scratch behind the ears.   I’m playful and do great with kittens, but some adult cats find my energy a little much. I’d love a quieter home — one with older kids or kiddos who understand that loud squeals aren’t really my thing. My foster human is 8 and loves me dearly… she just has a bit more excitement than my gentle soul prefers.   I currently live peacefully with small dogs and have zero interest in making a dash for the outdoors — indoor life is clearly where it’s at. I’m spayed, vaccinated, litter box (and litter robot!) trained, eat dry food like a champ, and weigh about 12 pounds. I’ve been told I’m shaped like a potato, and honestly… I’m not offended.   If you’re looking for a loving, easygoing companion who’s ready to be spoiled, I might just be your Peach.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  if you are interested and ask for an application PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.  March 7, 2026, 12:24 pm

Story
Her name is Bright Eyes — and the moment you see her, you’ll understand why. Those wide, luminous eyes are always alert, always curious, always taking in the world around her. At just 2 years old, this gorgeous gray tabby girl lives up to her name every single day. What makes Bright Eyes even more special is her journey. When she first arrived at her foster home, she was timid and unsure, keeping her distance and trying to figure out if the world was a safe place. With time, patience, and an abundance of love, she has blossomed into an affectionate, playful, endlessly entertaining companion. Watching her transformation has been nothing short of magical. Now? She doesn’t want to miss a single moment with her people. Bright Eyes prefers to be near her foster mom, soaking up affection and creating her own brand of comedy. She pounces on anything that remotely resembles a toy, paws at the television during her “favorite programs” (she was especially invested in the Olympics!), and keeps the household laughing with her antics. And speaking of the Olympics — Bright Eyes is a gold medalist in cuddling. Belly rubs are her absolute favorite event, and she takes them very seriously. She’s also a fierce competitor in high-jump, long-jump, and “jump onto literally anything available.” Sometimes she sticks the landing perfectly. Sometimes she… doesn’t. But like any true champion, she shakes it off (with the tiniest hint of embarrassment) and goes right back for another try. Bright Eyes is more than just a beautiful cat — she is resilient, affectionate, playful, and full of personality. Her bright spirit and loving heart will truly change someone’s life. If you feel ready to welcome this special girl into your home, please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and be sure to mention the city and state where you live. Bright Eyes is ready to shine in her forever home.  March 7, 2026, 12:24 pm
