Scottish Fold kittens & cats in Katy, Texas

Hi, I’m looking for help finding a home for my cat, Stella. She is about 14 years old, cuddly, litter-box trained, and has been an indoor-only cat her entire life. My daughter is very allergic, and with another baby on the way, I’m having to rehome her. This is a difficult decision, and I want to make sure she goes to a home where she will be comfortable and well cared for. Stella has had feline leukemia since birth. The vet originally told us she would likely live only three years, but she’s now 14. Her new owner would need to understand her diagnosis and ongoing veterinary needs. She needs to be the only pet, as she does not typically get along with other animals, and I’m looking for a home without other cats because of her feline leukemia. Ideally, I’d love to find someone looking for a calm, affectionate companion. Please let me know if you can help or know someone who might be a good fit. Thank you!

Our sweet girl was born in April 2019 and is a 7-year-old spayed female. We adopted her from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay when she was just two months old, and she has been a very loved part of our family ever since. She definitely has quite the personality! She is a sassy little princess who knows just how cute she is. She can be independent and likes her space, but when she wants cuddles, she is incredibly sweet and affectionate. She is litter-box trained and does very well most of the time, but she occasionally has accidents outside the box. We have taken her to the vet, and we were told these accidents appear to be behavioral rather than medical. They are not frequent, but with a newborn, we unfortunately can no longer manage them. We are looking for a loving, patient home where she can have her space and receive cuddles on her terms. She would be a great fit for someone who understands and can accommodate her occasional accidents.
