Scottish Fold kittens & cats in Rockwall, Texas

Introducing William Wallace, the charming Scottish Fold born in mid-2020, who found his way to Saving Hope as a stray. Every day returning home to William Wallace is the same: a quiet, raspy meow to say hello and head butts politely asking for gentle pets on his head. An older gentleman, Wallace is at his most content in a home where he can take leisurely naps curled up next to his human, lay on laps, and enjoy plenty of pets. He is a 10-year-old Scottish Fold who is litter trained, quiet and comfortable receiving love and attention from any house guests who will scratch under his chin. William Wallace is an excellent companion for families searching for a sweet friend who is content to spend quality time with his owners at home.William is FIV + which just means she has a compromised immune system and can`t go outside. This isn`t contagious and is only spread by blood contact with only other cats. William is healthy and doing great. Meet Ellis! Ellis is an 12-week-old female short-haired kitten who came to Rockwall Adoptions with her two siblings after being found outside. The family who initially took them in quickly realized they were not prepared to care for three young kittens long-term, so they surrendered them to give them the best chance at finding safe, permanent homes. Ellis had a very uncertain start to life and came to us frightened and under-socialized. Since arriving, she has begun making steady progress. She is now tolerant of being handled and is slowly learning that human interaction does not have to be scary. Ellis is still shy and cautious, and she is not seeking out affection yet, but she is beginning to relax more with consistent, gentle handling. She will need an adopter who understands that trust may take time and who is willing to continue helping her build confidence through routine, patience, and positive socialization. Ellis may need a little more encouragement than some kittens, but with the right person, she has every opportunity to continue opening up and learning what it means to feel secure in a loving home. Ellis's adoption fee is $75. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her rabies vaccine and FVRCP booster. Meet Sonoma! Sonoma is a beautiful 18 month old Domestic Medium Hair with a bright future ahead of her. She came to us from a hoarding situation where there were simply too many animals to receive the care and attention they deserved. Despite her difficult start, Sonoma has a gentle personality and is ready to experience the love and stability of a forever home. She would thrive as an indoor/outdoor cat that can interact with people on her own terms. Sonoma enjoys the company of other cats and would make a wonderful companion for a home with feline friends. If your family includes dogs or children, slow, supervised introductions are recommended to help her adjust at her own pace. With a little patience and understanding, Sonoma will reward you with her trust and companionship. Sonoma's adoption fee is $50. Sonoma is spayed, microchipped, current on rabies vaccination, FVRCP booster, and FIV/FELV negative. An approved online adoption application is required before a meet and greet can be scheduled. If you would like to give Sonoma the loving forever home she deserves, please submit an application today at: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
