Story
Lychee is a soft-spoken gray-blue Scottish Fold with a quiet, thoughtful personality. A true wallflower, she enjoys observing the world from a cozy corner, curling up in her favorite blanket, and soaking in gentle pets at her own pace. Calm, affectionate, and sweet, Lychee blossoms in a peaceful home where she can feel safe and loved, quietly winning hearts with her gentle charm. She and her younger sister, Krambo, are both available for adoption as their family moved overseas. While they are not considered bonded, they can be adopted together or separately. Scottish Folds are intelligent, inquisitive, and are loyal to their family. They tend not to hide around the house or be shy, but rather they will always be around, even following you from room to room. Some learn cute antics like how to open cabinet doors and take a look inside and they can even be trained to play fetch. Most love to drink from running water, and some eat and drink with their paws. Most folded-eared Folds sit up like prairie dogs to have a look around when they hear something.  TICA (The International Cat Association) Info: The ears of a Scottish Fold do not make them more susceptible to ear infections than any other breed. They do, however have a form of degenerative joint disease caused by the same thing that causes the ear to fold. This can show up particularly in their tail, ankles, and feet. It can increase over time, but is recommended to always play gently with their tail. They should be taken to the veterinarian immediately to check for arthritis if any stiffness is noticed or if they appear to be in pain when their tail is manipulated. Folds also should be checked for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and polycystic kidney disease.  ##2601138##

Story
Krambo is a charming young Scottish Straight with a friendly, easygoing personality. She loves being around people, greeting visitors with curiosity, and soaking up attention with soft purrs and gentle head bumps. Playful yet calm, Krambo enjoys exploring, lounging in cozy spots, and making friends wherever she goes. Affectionate, sociable, and full of charm, she’s the kind of cat who makes every home feel a little warmer.Krambo was named after a popular Israeli chocolate-coated marshmallow treat, Krembo. She and her older sister, Lychee, are both available for adoption as their family moved overseas. While they are not considered bonded, they can be adopted together or separately. The Scottish Straight is a charming cat breed, essentially a Scottish Fold with upright ears, known for its sweet, adaptable, and quiet nature, sharing origins and looks with the Scottish Fold but without the ear fold, featuring round faces, big eyes, dense coats in many colors, and a generally healthy disposition, though they still benefit from regular grooming and dental care, making them excellent, serene companions. The Scottish Fold breed produces cats with both straight and folded ears. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.North Texas Cat Rescue P.O Box 1504 McKinney, TX 75070 214.454.9395 www.northtexascatrescue.com Meet Tippy Toes! Tippy Toes is a resilient and affectionate little kitten with a heart as big as his personality. Rescued from a shelter at just 5 weeks old, Tippy was diagnosed with nerve damage in his left back leg but that hasn’t slowed him down one bit! With time, love, and exercise, he’s built strength and now uses that leg most of the time. He does everything other kittens do, climb, chase, pounce, and play just with a little extra flair. Tippy is a sweet-natured cuddle bug who adores snuggling with his siblings, Bop and Beep, and curling up for naps on the highest perch of the cat tree. He’s also litter trained, eats both wet and dry food, and uses a smart feeder and water fountain like a pro. One of his favorite things? Being carried like a baby while getting a gentle head rub. He’ll reward you with sweet leg rubs, loud purrs, and lots of love. And just like his siblings, he can’t resist churro treats! Tippy will thrive in a calm home with older children and another playful cat or kitten, ideally one of his siblings, who can keep him company and bring out his playful spirit. If you’re looking for a brave, affectionate, and utterly lovable kitten, Tippy Toes is ready to tiptoe his way into your heart.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please contact NTCR AT 214-454-9395 should you have any concerns or questions.
