Meet Turbo – Your Future Best Friend! Turbo is an 8-month-old cream-colored Shar Pei mix with the softest coat and the sweetest soul. At around 50 pounds, this lovable pup is still just a baby at heart – playful, social, and full of goofy charm. He absolutely adores other dogs and kids, and he’ll thrive in a home with canine buddies to play and cuddle with. This is the dog that will love your kids as much as you do! He will be there to cuddle with them on their toughest day! He would love to be on the sideline cheering when they score their first goal or home run  of the season.   Turbo’s previous owner cared deeply about him and made the tough decision to surrender him so he could get the eye care he needs. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and more than ready to meet his forever family.   &#226&#156&#168 Special Needs, Special Pup: Turbo has a condition called Corneal Endothelial Dystrophy, which causes cloudiness in the eyes as certain cells slowly die off over time. While there’s no cure and his vision may gradually decline, his current vision is still good, and daily eye drops (about $20/month) can help slow the progression. The condition is not painful, and he’s a happy, active boy – just needs a little extra love and care!   Turbo is currently fostering in Riverside, CA, and he’s looking for a family who’ll see how amazing he is – eye drops and all. Story
Honey (she goes by Dolce, but we have another dog also with that name) came from a home with far too many dogs that overwhelmed the owner. Honey is 43 pounds, is recently spayed and is microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Honey is being treated for an ear infection, and is on some high quality food and fish oil to clean up her skin. She is a typical female, who can get a little growly around strangers poking and prodding (not a fan of the vet but manageable), but has lived with other dogs and kids with no issues. Her coat is cleaning up slowly with good food and some antibiotics. She came to us with a pretty patchy coat. Honey is the princess, preferring inside to out (she is completely housetrained, but just doesn't want to hang out in the yard otherwise). She is quiet, not a big barker and likes to give kisses and hugs. Honey is fostering in the Indio, California area. Royce is a super friendly male shar-pei.  He is good with dogs and kids.   He came to rescue from an owner who was overwhelmed with too many dogs and is looking for his forever home. Royce is 51 pounds, recently neutered and is vaccinated and has a microchip.   He loves cuddling with other dogs.   If you are looking for a pair, Honey was also from same home. Check out this cutie! She is tiny at only 30 ish pounds.    She was quickly made adoptable at the maricopa shelter which rarely happens with Shar Pei. She loves everyone she meets.  She loves car rides and jumps right in the car. House training is a non issue. She did great for her first bath! She has had her Entropion surgery and spay. This girl is social and has loved play dates with friends. She is great with bossy females and males. Crate training was a non issue but is totally fine being left home alone.  December 4, 2025, 10:30 pm

Story
Bear is a calm older male who has life left to live. Bear was found as a stray, is good with other dogs, walks well on a leash. We did bloodwork and a urinalysis and this boy is healthy, so he is freshly neutered! Bear has a gorgeous coat and chill personality. He can be a but growly, so we are recommending a home without small children. He is taking gabapentin daily as he appears a bit arthritic, but he gets around fine, and he sees and hears perfectly when you have a treat in your hand (his hearing is actually poor overall). He loves hanging out with you inside, preferring shorter walks and doesn't care for cold weather. He is good for car rides and loves trips to the pet store to pick a toy! Oh, and he loves his bones and scratches from his favorite people. He is about 45 pounds. He is fostering just east of San Francisco. He can be grumpy with vets, but is better around those not poking and prodding medically.December 1, 2025, 3:01 pm
