You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application PEBBLES- Our miracle baby Pebbles is a Pit Bull / Shar-Pei Mix (Pitpei). She is 14 months old and weighs 35 lbs. She is truly a survivor and is an amazing pup. Personality: Pebbles is a sweet, loving girl with a playful puppy spirit! She can be cautious when meeting new dogs at first, but once she warms up, she absolutely loves to romp and play. She doesn’t quite realize her size and enthusiasm can be a bit much for smaller dogs—but it’s all in fun! She loves kids of all ages, but again with her size she probably would do best with older kids. Pebbles loves her humans deeply and may act protective when strangers approach… even though she’s secretly afraid of her own shadow Background: Pebbles had a very rough start in life and did not receive proper vet care early on. Sadly, her siblings did not survive, but Pebbles is a true survivor who beat the odds. Although as a puppy, she was given a very small chance of surviving, every single day she thrived more and more. She never gave up and neither did we!!! After a year in foster care, she’s now ready for the amazing life she deserves. Energy Level: High – adventurous, playful, and loves exploring! Although she loves to run around and play, she also thrives hanging on the couch with her head in your lap, snoring happily. Special Needs / Health: Pebbles is listed as special needs due to a neurological-related eating issue. She does great but needs to be monitored and fed smaller food. She is a bit of an overeater, so food needs to be limited or she will eat until she is ready to bust. She has been seen through her young life by several Veterinarians, including a specialist. The testing ruled out issues with her esophagus, and the final diagnosis was more of a neurological-related eating issue. This does not slow her down, nor affect her quality of life and is manageable. Ideal Home: A loving home where she gets plenty of attention and isn’t left alone for long periods. Hi! I’m "Princess", a wonderful canine companion in search of my furever home. I was rescued from a neglectful situation and was in a good foster situation until my caretaker passed away. I am a 5-6 year old, and have been spayed, microchipped and up on all my shots, including the 1 year heartworm shot. Medical records are at Spruce Creek Animal Clinic in Port Orange, under the care of Dr. Hancock. I’ve been told I am a sweetheart, overflowing with affection, strong and have boundless energy. I would be the perfect playmate for playing fetch and wrestling. I would love a large fenced in yard to run around in and expel all my energy. Most of all, I thrive on attention and love to be doted on. I am 65 pounds of muscle. I am crate trained. I have not been around children at all and cats and I don’t get along. Bob is a very affectionate dog who loves attention. My husband has dementia and I personally am not in good health,so we are unable to care for them anymore. Bob loves to be outside and loves to run and play, especially with his sister who is also listed on this website. (They have never been separated). He is leash trained but gets so excited on walks that he does pull a bit.
