Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Ranger! This approx. 2yo, 25lb. boy is such a sweet and polite boy. His former foster did a DNA test on him and his main breed was Chinese Shar-Pei followed by Boston Terrier and Yorkshire Terrier, with a little bit of beagle and Pom thrown in. Despite being found homeless on the side of a country road, he is very well house trained.  Car rides are his ideal nap time and he'll sleep the entire time he is in the car. He also sleeps great through the night. Ranger tends to walk side to side on leash and will pull if he gets excited or distracted. Once he has tired himself out, his walking improves. He is AMAZING with all people including kids. He is so patient and so sweet, and always wants to make new friends! He does have a prey drive so he should not be in a home with cats or other small animals. Ranger is currently in boarding where he is getting socialization and learning how to "dog." He is being introduced to other dogs on and off leash and is doing amazing so far. Toys or balls don’t interest Ranger, but he is obsessed with teaser cat toys (the ones on the string). Ranger is medium energy and has a great off switch, meaning he will be chill when you’re watching a movie on the couch and he will be ready to go when it's time to go on a long walk. Ranger is a very comfortable dog that enjoys just about anything. He is eager to please and a very fast learner. He always does a little dance whenever he is excited to see you. If you have been waiting for a medium sized dog with a big and loving personality in your life, Ranger is the dog for you! A fenced yard would be ideal, but also plenty of daily leash walks will suit him just fine too. Ranger does experience intermittent bouts of coughing from a suspected collapsing trachea which does not alter his day-to-day activities, and he is on no meds. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and think you have the perfect home for Ranger, complete an application and tell us about your family.May 9, 2026, 10:22 pm

Story
We knew Bethany was something special the moment we met her at the shelter, and it took her no time to prove us right. Bethany came to us with hot spots, underweight, and questions about her past - she was found running with an emotional support leash and collar on. We knew she was with someone at some point, but her lack of care and time at the shelter with no one claiming her prompted us to help her find a better life. Bethany can be timid initially, but she loves people and she loves other dogs, and she truly aims to please. She is goofy while also go with the flow, she is gentle yet will help foster brother work on digging his hole in the backyard into the perfect nap spot, and through out it all she carries this even keel, peaceful energy about her that has made even dogs generally fearful of other dogs want to be her friend, and fosters who want to stay fosters say, “it’s a real problem how much we like Bethany.” Bethany is dog and cat friendly, she is @muggsysbar approved, she is great with her house manners, and she has the best always concerned forehead wrinkles that I swear are multiplying all over her body as her coat gets healthier and more golden. Bethany is estimated two years old and 60lbs and she is ready to find her forever home March 8, 2026, 9:12 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application PEBBLES- Our miracle baby Pebbles is a Pit Bull / Shar-Pei Mix (Pitpei). She is 14 months old and weighs 35 lbs. She is truly a survivor and is an amazing pup. Personality: Pebbles is a sweet, loving girl with a playful puppy spirit! She can be cautious when meeting new dogs at first, but once she warms up, she absolutely loves to romp and play. She doesn’t quite realize her size and enthusiasm can be a bit much for smaller dogs—but it’s all in fun! She loves kids of all ages, but again with her size she probably would do best with older kids. Pebbles loves her humans deeply and may act protective when strangers approach… even though she’s secretly afraid of her own shadow Background: Pebbles had a very rough start in life and did not receive proper vet care early on. Sadly, her siblings did not survive, but Pebbles is a true survivor who beat the odds. Although as a puppy, she was given a very small chance of surviving, every single day she thrived more and more. She never gave up and neither did we!!! After a year in foster care, she’s now ready for the amazing life she deserves. Energy Level: High – adventurous, playful, and loves exploring! Although she loves to run around and play, she also thrives hanging on the couch with her head in your lap, snoring happily. Special Needs / Health: Pebbles is listed as special needs due to a neurological-related eating issue. She does great but needs to be monitored and fed smaller food. She is a bit of an overeater, so food needs to be limited or she will eat until she is ready to bust. She has been seen through her young life by several Veterinarians, including a specialist. The testing ruled out issues with her esophagus, and the final diagnosis was more of a neurological-related eating issue. This does not slow her down, nor affect her quality of life and is manageable. Ideal Home: A loving home where she gets plenty of attention and isn’t left alone for long periods. She’ll thrive with an active family ready to give her love and structure. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 9, 2026, 6:13 pm
