This is Sharpy — a 2‑year‑old Shar‑Pei/Terrier mix with a big heart and a sweet, loyal personality. He’s friendly, playful, protective, and loves being close to his person. He’s great with kids, but because he’s a big boy, he can accidentally knock little ones over. I’m looking for a home where someone is home often, enjoys walks, and wants a true companion. Sharpy does best in a calm, stable environment with people who will give him affection, routine, and attention. He is NOT a dog who should be left alone all day — he thrives with company. I will only consider homes that are responsible, loving, and willing to stay in touch with updates. A meet‑and‑greet and a short trial period are required to make sure it’s the right fit for everyone. If you think you could be Sharpy’s forever family, please message me. He deserves the best.

Story
We got Dixie or my son when he was going through depression. We have had her since she was eight weeks old. My son has been living with us with mental conditions and recently went to prison. I have rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and osteoarthritis, and cannot care for her. She is very sweet! She does have seasonal allergies so she needs Apoquel when pollen comes around. She's potty trained and calm. This is a very difficult decision that I am having to make, but I feel terrible for her always having her in a cage. She loves stuffed animals and was used to sleeping in my son‘s bed. But I cannot let her get in my bed because of my health conditions and pain I have all over my body. Her name is Dixie. I need to find her a home as soon as possible. She is 7-8 years old I cannot remember.
