Meet Sarah, a delicate and sweet girl who has been through a lot in her life. After running loose on the streets for over a year, Sarah was finally caught and taken to AWL. Although she is still very shy and fearful of everything and everyone, she has been making progress with the help of her dedicated foster mom. In foster care, Sarah has been enjoying meeting other pups in the neighborhood. Although she isn't much of a barker, she will let you know if trouble is brewing. Sarah has nice manners, enjoys her little safe spaces throughout the house, and shows no aggression whatsoever. Sarah is looking for a quiet and gentle home with no small kids, where she can continue to heal and overcome her fears. Hi! My name is Brodie - me and my best friend Nugget ended up at a really scary county animal services. We were so scared that we became each other’s support dogs. Now, we are bonded and don’t like being apart from each other. We get along great and are really good boys! We like to keep our area clean- so don’t typically go to the bathroom inside. Helping us establish a schedule/routine with you will finish getting us housetrained. We like playing with toys- but aren’t destructive at all.Nugget is a chihuahua mix estimated at 2 years old and weighing around 16 lbs; Brodie is a 3 yr old boxer and weighs about 60lbs. We are both neutered, microchipped, dewormed, up to date on all vaccinations and heartworm negative.We are a bonded pair so need to be adopted together. Hello! My name is Lady. Somehow, I wound up in municipal county animal services place. The angels at GOFAR heard about me and came and rescued me.I appear to be a boxer mix and weigh approximately 60lbs. I am very sweet and well behaved - I think that’s how I got my name! I walk well on leash and follow the pace the volunteers set. I really don’t like messing in my kennel; as long as we can work together to set a routine/schedule, I should do fine in the house. I am friendly with other dogs and did well in play groups with larger dogs - my rescue thinks I'd be best suited for homes without smaller high energy dogs. I don’t seem to mind the rescue cats I see on my walks! I have such a gentle and easy going personality, that the rescue thinks I would be fine in a family with children. I am looking for my furever family- someone that will love and care for me the same way I will for them.
