Hi, I’m Soul! 🐾 I’m a 1-year-old Shar-Pei/Pitbull mix with a big personality and lots of energy. I’m a young guy who’s still learning about the world, and because of that, I’m looking for a home that can provide me with structure, consistency, and continued training to help me become the best dog I can be. I’m smart, eager to learn, and very food motivated, which makes training a great way to bond with me and build my confidence. I enjoy staying active, exploring new places, and spending time with my people, but I’ll need guidance and boundaries as I continue to mature. Because I’m still young and excitable, I would do best with an owner who understands the importance of ongoing training, routine, and appropriate outlets for my energy. I’m looking for someone committed to helping me succeed and willing to put in the time to help me thrive.

Nini takes to her Beagle mix genes more in looks and behavior. She enjoys doing parkour around the house. Translation: she will need someone who can match her energy and be consistent with ongoing training. Nini has already been spayed and microchipped (with lifetime registration). She is heartworm negative, kept up to date on vaccines, and is anxious for her own family. Nini will turn 3-yrs old in late November 2026.

She enjoys hip/bum scratches too! Izzy will often choose to sit/“place” close by while you’re working, whether you are at the kitchen sink or the bathroom counter. She may take a bit to work through her nerves, depending on the situation. Some of her recently discovered talents are carrying multiple toys in her mouth at one time, or collecting her favorite toys in one place. Izzy knows “drop it”. Izzy has quite a powerful sniffer, for example, she usually tracks the exact trail of whomever visited the yard. Isabelle has already been spayed and microchipped (with lifetime registration). She is a good physical mix of the Shar Pei and Beagle genes, with behavior favoring either side at times. Examples are partial stranger danger response to new people, or surprised/alert response to dogs coming from nowhere. Noli has already been spayed and microchipped (with lifetime registration). Ellie, Mozzorellie, or NFL linebacker are just a few of her names came to us after quite the heist of sneaking out of another shelter and going on an adventure for months. Ellie arrived unsure, overstimulated, planning the next big escape, and not sold that people are actually nice. Over the past year at SOAR, she’s shown incredible progress in all ways. Ellie has never one time had an accident in her room, appears dog friendly, loves all people big and small, but we’re unsure on cats. Ellie is all about speed and playing chicken, she’ll run full steam ahead and ditch at the last second leaving you with soiled undies and a muscle cramp from bracing for impact. You WON’T find better forehead wrinkles, not even at a nursing home. The perfect home for Ellie would be active, older or no children, only dog or bigger dog friends, and if adopting to a house will minimally need a 6ft fully-fenced back yard.
