Meet Hermione! This adorable 2½-month-old Shar Pei baby girl is as sweet as they come. She’s very playful and loves her toys, always ready for a fun game or adventure! Hermione is extremely loving and enjoys nothing more than sitting in your lap, soaking up cuddles, and giving lots of sweet puppy kisses. She’s a true cuddle bug who loves being close to her people. She is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccines, and on monthly preventatives. She is currently learning potty training and crate training and is making great progress for such a young pup. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate puppy who will grow into a loyal lifelong companion, Hermione might be the perfect addition to your family! Meet Walker, an adorable 8-month-old male Sher Pei/Pit mix who is ready to find his forever home! With his affectionate nature, he absolutely loves being around people and kids, making him the perfect family companion. Walker has an energetic spirit and a strong desire to be a lap dog, always seeking out your love and attention. However, he would benefit from a consistent housetraining schedule to help him build good habits. While his playful chewing might be a sign of separation anxiety, with guidance and care, he can overcome this challenge. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who will fill your home with joy and laughter, Walker is the pup for you! ADOPTION FEE: LOCAL $100 NON-LOCAL $140 All dogs receive at least 1 distemper/parvo and Bordetella vaccine. If possible a heartworm test will be done and if negative the dog will be started on heartworm prevention. All animals receive a flea and parasite prevention/treatment and will be microchipped. All animals can go home the same day as adoption. We will need your photo ID and you will sign some documents. Adopters will also receive a copy of the animal's medical history to date. We do not do an application process. All adoptions are first come, first serve. We do not offer holds. We do not require in most cases that adopters bring all their families members and dogs for a meet and greet. But we do highly encourage it. We are happy to introduce the new dog to your dog(s) at the shelter. No appointment necessary. We do offer home trials of dogs over 6 months of age for about a week. You will not need to pay the adoption fee (spay neuter deposit) ahead of time, but if you decide to adopt you will need to return to the shelter to complete the paperwork and pay the adoption deposit. If you do not wish to complete the adoption, you can bring the dog back at any time during normal business hours during your home trial period. We do not allow after hours drop off.

She first came to us the day we reopened the shelter in February, and although she was adopted once, she sadly had to be returned in May. At only 2 years old, Arwin has spent far too much time in the shelter, and she’s ready to leave this chapter behind. When Arwin first arrived, she was terrified and trembled constantly, but over time, she’s grown more confident and comfortable in our care. She’s a stunning Shar Pei mix who is deeply loyal and protective of the people she loves. This protective nature is part of what makes Arwin so special—but it’s also why she was returned. She needs an experienced owner who understands guardian breeds and can give her the guidance she needs. Arwin would do best in an adult-only home with no young children. She will need to meet any potential dog siblings before adoption to ensure a good match. We offer trial adoptions so you can spend time getting to know Arwin before making your final decision. At just 2 years old, Arwin still has a lifetime of love and companionship to give. She’s been with us for far too long, and while we adore her, we’re afraid she’s being overlooked.
