Story
We adopted Forest in late 2017. You can see in the last slide of his photos, in his story, he was rescued from the woods (or Forest) of Warren Ohio after being chained to a tree. Forest has been with me for almost a decade now and a wonderful loyal companion. He is my best friend.. We have been through so much together. It is incredibly hard to have to do this, but with my new job, family, and a baby on the way, I can't give Forest the time he needs. Forest is house trained, loves chew toys, and running around the house/yard as fast as he can. He's content to lay around the house all day, in bed or the couch, or just as happy to go on walks or hikes off-leash, staying close to his companion. He is wary of strangers, especially men. He has some separation anxiety. And also deathly afraid of kids and small children and can't be around them; This may be from his history of abuse, we don't know. He is a wonderful dog, entering his senior life and just needs a new best friend.
