Story
Hi! I’m Velma — professional wiggle-butt & smile distributor! Hi friends! My name is Velma, and I’m here to tell you my story in my own words — because wow, it’s been a journey already. I didn’t have the easiest start. My sister Daphne and I were living a life we didn’t understand, and one very kind human couldn’t walk away when someone threatened to hurt us. Instead, he chose compassion, stepped in, and made sure we were safe. That’s how we found our way to Lucky Paws Rescue — and I will be forever grateful. When I arrived, I was very skinny — so skinny you could count all my bones. I got to see the vet right away, got all cleaned up inside and out, and started feeling better fast. Turns out, Daphne and I had spent our whole lives outside on chains, so things like “house manners” and “dog manners” were totally new to us. But guess what? We are learning, and we are trying, and we are so eager to please. The best part? I love people. Like… LOVE people. Attention? Yes please. Pets? Absolutely. Praise? Give me all of it. I have been told I have the best smile and that I’m a certified wiggle-butt, which basically means my whole body celebrates when I’m happy — and I’m happy a LOT these days. I’m still figuring things out, but what I lack in experience, I make up for in heart. All I want is a safe home, gentle guidance, and someone who will love me as much as I will love them. If you’re looking for a sweet, happy girl with a big smile, a bigger heart, and a tail that never stops wagging… I might just be your Velma. Love & wiggles,Velma ##2614141##
