Hi, I’m Loki. I am a one year old, cream colored Lab/Shar Pei mix, around 50 lbs. I prefer hanging with adults, so I’d be a better fit in a house without little kids. I’m a bit of a leaner … okay maybe I’m a huge leaner but I love to cuddle when you pat me. I like playing with other pups, and I really like the ladies (wink, wink). I have medium energy, so it would be great if my new family has a yard. I’m working on my manners, house and crate training. My foster mom thinks I’m really smart. I already know how to walk on a leash and LOVE car rides. Are you looking for that very special boy to join your family? I’m right here and can’t wait to meet you. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

So I have a mini multi colored Shar Pei. He only weighs 40 lbs and is shorter than normal Shar Pei’s. He is super friendly with both people and dogs. He barks when people knock on the door and is super friendly when they are let in the house. He turns 3 on August 16th. He loves to walk and go to dog parks. His shots are up to date. The reason for his adoption is that my son can no longer keep him as his girlfriend is allergic to dogs. I am really looking forward to a person who has a home with a backyard. Cruz makes everyone his friend and walks around like he owns the place. He is social and good with other dogs. He does like his own things so feeding in crate or seperaste is recommened but who can blame a guy!! He’s definitely a love bug, and just what every loving family needs!! Have you ever heard on the TV, well a hoarder's house has been raided and ... animals have been seized and sent to the pound or rescue organizations in the area.... WELL, we are FROM just that kind of situation :( The good thing is we were SAVED... the bad thing is that we had to ENDURE the neglect and disgusting home. The BEST thing is we were ALL SAVED by a rescue group who REFUSED to leave even ONE behind...... 30 dogs/pups ALL AT ONCE has been taxing and motivating for the rescuers. If you watch our video, the situation was very very challenging but our rescuers worked their butts off to save us. We are almost all ready for adoption, all the pups are social and ready for their furever homes! The young adults and adults are a little more shy but have been working really hard with our rescuers to be ready for YOU!! We are a unique "breed" mix, lol. Aunts/Uncles/Parents/SIblings... all "living" together. We have Shar Pei, Scruffy dogs, Pit Bull, and maybe Spaniel mixed in there :D We are all pretty much medium sized, 20-50# and cute as HECK!! If you have ever wanted to adopt a rescued dog that NEEDS the best home, WE ARE WAITING RIGHT HERE!!! Please watch our video, empathize with us AND our rescue family and ADOPT!!!! Meet Skippy! Skippy arrived at WAG after being dumped in a crate outside our gate in an act of desperation. He was terrified, but after being given time to adjust, he is able to show us his true personality. Skippy is a husky/boxer mix and was born in December 2021. He has done well with some similarly sized dogs at WAG after proper introductions, but would not do well in a home with cats (due to a husky's high prey drive), or small children (due to his large size and enthusiastic playing style). He has previously lived with children, so may be okay with older kids in the home. Skippy does take a little time to get used to new people. He would not be a good dog to take to a dog park. Skippy does require a fenced yard to keep him from wandering. He would do best as part of an active family that can help him continue to work on his training and socialization.
