Story
Wednesday is around 1 year old and is still very much a puppy! She is a very people oriented dog and although loves to play with other dogs would do fine being the only dog in the home. She would also love to have an active home with children over 8 years old. She currently lives with cats but will chase them so a home without cats or other small animals would be best. She is housebroken and crate trained. She loves to play and snuggle with her humans - they are everything to her! She is lovable, food motivated and a very friendly pooch! Fenced in yard required. Adopters must live in Western Washington.

Story
Koa's foster parent thinks she's awesome! She's so smart and knows sit, stay, shake, lay down and rollover. This velvety black coated pooch is also a very good walker, fully potty trained, and even wears grippy socks in the apartment without a fuss. Her temperament is amazing - she's just as happy lounging on the couch as she is taking long walks or being out and about. With tons of energy despite her age she'll often ask for a round of tug or hide and seek. Koa is so good with people, she's become quite the celebrity in our building, and we get so many compliments on how pretty she is. She, of course, happily soaks up all the attention and pets from everyone.Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information.** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate your understanding and patience. **HOW TO ADOPT: Check the animal's location. From the Dog Kennels/Kennel Group I/Kennel Group Q (in shelter):To meet this dog, please come to Seattle Animal Shelter at 2061 15th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98119,between 1 - 5 pm one of on one of our open days, no appointment needed. Story
Skye is a 1-2 year old, 45-50lb Shar Pei/Pit Bull who is looking for her forever home. Skye loves to be with her people and would thrive with a family that wants to give her lots of love and continue her basic training. Skye is active but also likes to lounge. She would make a great active buddy followed by movie nights in cuddling on the couch. She will need a family that can continue training with her, she knows sit and will work for treats! Skye is reactive to other dogs and needs to be the only dog in the home and would be best suited not living in a super dog populated area/neighborhood (ex: Downtown Seattle). With training and support who reactivity could definitely improve. No cats or small critters. We are looking for a home with kids over 12 or adult only, Skye can jump when she is excited and is still learning manners! Ideally Skye would have a home with a fenced yard, though could be okay in a quiet condo/townhome with a small private fenced yard. Skye is UTD on shots, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.

Story
Greetings, I'm Mint, an 8-month-old girl with a mix. My journey began when I was just a 2-week-old baby, arriving at the city shelter along with my seven siblings and loving Mom. I bring a delightful and sociable spirit with me. One of my brothers found a loving home in Seattle through fostering, and it was love at first sight for his foster family. We're a charming bunch! Yet, the rest of my siblings, including myself, are still at the city shelter, facing the risk of euthanasia. All of us are a delightful blend of friendly, funny, and undeniably cute. Strength? That's a matter of perspective. I consider myself innocent and gentle, always eager for playful adventures. Food is a joy, but I'm no guard—sharing with friends is more my style. My energy level is moderate, and I enjoy playtime with pals while maintaining a calm demeanour indoors. Petting me is a breeze, and my wobbly tail is a testament to my happiness. I'm the epitome of cheerfulness—always ready with a wagging tail, especially when making eye contact. If you're in search of a bright and cheerful companion, look no further—meet me and let's create a beautiful bond! Story
Hello, I'm Bay, an adorable 8-month-old SharPei mix boy eagerly awaiting my forever home. My journey began at the city shelter when I was just a 2-week-old baby, accompanied by my loving Mom and seven siblings. While one of my seven siblings found a happy home through fostering, I and my other siblings are still at the city shelter, facing the risk of euthanasia. Each one of us embodies a friendly, funny, and endearing spirit. Picture this: lovely chocolate fur, long legs adorned with white socks, and eyes that exude innocence, much like a baby angel. I'm a social butterfly, adoring people so much that I'll gladly sit on a stranger's lap upon our first meeting. Playing with friends is a delight for me, and if I discover a cherished toy, I'll quietly retreat to a corner to enjoy it. My nature is gentle and kind; even if friends approach me while I'm with my toys, I'll simply relocate without any fuss or growls. If you're seeking a puppy friend to always bring a smile to your face and shower you with love, then I'm the perfect companion. Consider adopting me, and I promise to become a cherished and lovable member of your family. Let's create a beautiful bond and fill your home with joy and love together. Hello, I'm Cinamon, an adorable 8-month-old SharPei mix girl eagerly awaiting my forever home. y journey began at the city shelter when I was just a 2-week-old baby, accompanied by my loving Mom and seven siblings. Each one of us embodies a friendly, funny, and endearing spirit. I'm a social butterfly, adoring people so much. I allow strangers to touch or hug me. I'm a very nice, innocent soul. And I'm an extreme toy lover. If I have a toy I like, I go to the corner alone and play with it quietly without my friends knowing. I grew up in a shelter as a baby, so I have less experience. I still need to learn how to eat snacks. When I go for a walk, my tail goes down in unfamiliar places. I wish I had a family who could teach me the taste of delicious snacks and the joy of walking. I will be your lovely and good family member. I'm in a shelter in Korea and ready to fly anywhere in Seattle or Vancouver if you call my name.
