Hi, I'm Maggie Mae, a 2-year-old brindle Shar-Pei mix with a heart full of love! 🐾 I might be a little shy when we first meet, but once I warm up to you, my affectionate and playful side shines through — I've got energy for days and I'm always ready for fun. 💕 I have been in a foster home for a little while and my foster mom says that I am a joy to have. I do well meeting other dogs, I am crate trained, and very treat motivated! I do have a chronic skin condition that needs special care and attention, but with the right home and a committed adopter, I can thrive and this issue seems to stabilize itself for the most part. I'm already spayed and my adoption fee is $275. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys canine companionship. Rocky does have some resource-guarding tendencies around bones, so he’ll do best with an experienced owner who can continue working on positive training and management. After arriving from California in December, he was recently returned to the shelter when the match just wasn't the right fit. Like many dogs, Quincy can be a little unsure in new environments and is selective with some men, but patience, treats, and a gentle approach help him build confidence quickly. Quincy enjoys playing with the other dogs at the shelter, though he can be a bit possessive of toys and will benefit from continued training in that area. He's also working hard on his potty training and is very close to having it mastered. This athletic boy is capable of clearing a six-foot fence if he's motivated, so secure containment and supervision are a must. Quincy is truly a diamond in the rough—smart, eager, and full of potential. He'll thrive with an active family committed to providing plenty of exercise, structure, and positive training.
