Meet Sweetheart, an almost ten-month-old Shar Pei/Mastiff mix weighing around 75 pounds.Sweetheart came to us needing some extra care—she arrived with significant hair loss and irritated skin that had caused some bleeding, along with very uncomfortable ears. The good news? She’s already on the mend, her ears have been treated, and with a little more TLC we expect her to make a full recovery.True to her name, Sweetheart is incredibly friendly and full of puppy energy. She’s still learning her manners and can be a bit mouthy, but she’s eager to please and catches on quickly. Silly, playful, and always ready for fun, she just wants to engage and be loved. And those wrinkles? Absolutely irresistible.Sweetheart is looking for a family who can help guide her through puppyhood while showering her with patience and affection. In return, she promises laughs, playtime, and lots of wrinkly cuddles.This pet is available for adoption on 1/28/2026 at 12:55 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
