Story
She is the sweetest girl with such a loving, gentle personality. I originally got her hoping she could grow with me, but with my school and work schedule, I’m not able to give her the time and attention she truly deserves. She’s about 45 lbs, very affectionate, and loves being close to her person. She is fully crate trained and potty trained, which makes her very easy to care for. I’m looking for a home that can give her stability, patience, and plenty of love. She deserves a family who can spend real time with her and let her thrive. This decision is only because of my busy schedule, not because of anything she’s done.

Story
Hi, I'm Marley! I'm a 52-lb Poodle and I'm just one year old. My foster calls me "a very sweet and special boy", but all I know is that I'm an adventurous, affectionate, intelligent, energetic, goofy guy who loves run, playing, jumping, and wagging my tail. Like my musician namesake, I have just one question for you: "could you be loved" by me? Will you be my forever family? Favorite Things: Marley loves being outside, whether going on walks or exploring the back yard! His perfect family would be an active one that can take him on long walks, or even on runs. If you want to live a healthy lifestyle, Marley will make sure you get your steps in! Training & Manners: Marley is a clever dog who has all the makings of a gentleman.  He walks well on a leash, loves car rides, and has shown success with his housetraining. He will need a dog-savvy, active family that can handle his high energy and keep working on his basic training. He doesn’t understand his own size and needs work on boundaries. He is also a digger outside. He’s just so curious, and it sometimes gets the best of him. Health & Care: Marley is a healthy boy! He is heartworm negative and up-to-date on vaccinations. He will just need monthly flea and heart preventatives, like any dog. As a Poodle, he will need regular brushing and at-home spa days, with professional groomings about every 6-8 weeks. Other Animals: This playful pooch gets along well with other large, good-natured dogs who can be patient as Marley learns how to have fun. Small dogs would not be suitable due to Marley's size and energy.  Marley can be a bit too much for cats, so a feline-free home would be necessary.  Children: Marley is an active guy who likes to run and jump, so he'd do best in a home with active, sturdy teenagers only. He may knock over small children with his bursts of love and joy. Ideal Home: Marley would do well in an apartment, condo, or single family home: anywhere there's a family that can love him, take care of him and give him plenty of exercise. Overall: Marley will make a wonderful, loving, loyal companion for a family who can train him, raise him, and love him forever.  Do you look at Marley and think, "Is this love"? Then visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org to fill out an adoption application. If it seems like it could be a good match, his foster family will reach out with more information. His adoption donation is $550. ##2587422##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Rosey is a large-breed puppy who weighed in at 20 lbs at just 12 weeks, so yes she’s going to be a big girl! Her mom is an Old English Sheepdog and her dad is a Black Russian Terrier, giving her that perfect mix of fluff, smarts, and big-pawed charm. Rosey is about 80% potty trained, sleeps through the night, and will whine when she needs to go out. She already knows how to sit on command and is very treat-motivated. She’s teething, so having plenty of chew toys around keeps her happy (and keeps your stuff safe!). This girl loves everyone and everything. She plays great with other dogs, shares toys, and is full of joyful, goofy puppy energy. She can be a little dramatic if she doesn’t like something, she’ll “complain” with a funny little grunt (not a growl). She’s also a total foodie. Rosey eats with enthusiasm and will try to help herself to her friends’ bowls, so she’s currently fed separately and uses a slow-feed bowl. Rosey’s coat is super soft with very minimal shedding, and she hands out kisses generously! Just know her kisses sometimes turn into tiny teething nibbles. She’s curious about everything, growing fast, and still has no idea how big she is becoming. Puppy-proofing is a must! Routine & Home Life: Rosey has not been crated because her foster is home all the time. She has full access to the yard all day, and she absolutely loves being outside, especially when the weather is cooler. Her daily schedule looks like: 6 AM: potty & breakfast 4 PM: dinner 10 PM: bedtime She sleeps through the night and wakes when she needs to go out. Rosey is incredibly sweet and affectionate, but she does get excited and can jump up on people, so she’ll need continued consistent training to help her learn polite greetings. She’s playful, loving, energetic, and full of joy and she sleeps in the funniest way: pressed up against the wall, which you’ll just have to see to appreciate. Rosey is ready to bring tons of love, laughter, and big-puppy happiness to her forever home. She will thrive with an adopter who has experience with large or giant-breed dogs, and will require continued commitment to training and socialization, and this will be a big part of application screening as we want to set you both up for success! Important Adoption Note: Because Venus is expected to grow into a very large adult dog, we are only accepting applications from current homeowners for her. This is not a standard requirement for our rescue, and renters are absolutely welcome to apply for our other dogs. For Rosey specifically, we want to avoid potential issues with breed/weight restrictions or lease limitations as she grows. The adoption donation is $260 and will include spay, microchip and age appropriate vaccines.  Please follow the link below to submit an application:  https://bit.ly/3GDeyyoVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 23, 2025, 2:03 am
