Story
This is Benji, he is a Standar poodle and weighs about 47 pounds. I adopted him a couple months ago to be the companion of my brother in law since he is constantly in the road as a truck driver. Unfortunately Benji is not a fan of spending most of his time in a truck.He is potty trained, he is very good with kids and other dogs. I adopted him when he had just turn 1 year old and as far as I know, he has not been introduced to cats. He is still young, about to turn 2 years old so he is energetic and loves a good play time. He has no medical conditions. He does have a sensitive tummy so a strict dog food diet is a must. He doesn’t like to spend a lot of time alone and loves to share room with his humans, specially at night.

Story
Hi, I’m Charlie a 10-year-old Poodle boy who loves to be loved!  I weigh 18 pounds and enjoy treats, snuggles, dog friends, and walks around the neighborhood.  I’m a laid-back guy and happy to chill with my people.  I’m a big fan of communication with a bark-bark here and a bark-bark there, so a single-family home is best for me, especially one that has another dog living there! Favorite Things: Charlie is happy doing his own thing but enjoys having his people around and likes to play with other dogs. He gets along famously with his four foster canine siblings; with one special friend he gives kisses to throughout the day. He enjoys chasing a ball or toy that his person throws but hasn’t quite figured out how to return it yet.  Charlie also loves walks and being outdoors. Training & Manners: Charlie is house-trained when let out regularly. He walks well on a leash and has good house manners.  He loves car rides and sleeps soundly in his dog bed at night. Health & Care: Charlie is neutered, heartworm negative, current on vaccinations, and microchipped.  He’ll just need monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog.  As a poodle, he’ll need regular professional grooming to look and feel his best.   Other Animals: Charlie has experience with playful dogs.  He hasn’t been tested with cats but his foster family thinks he’s probably not a good fit. Children: Charlie has not had experience with children in his foster home. Ideal Home: This sweet boy will do best in a single-family home given his tendency to share his opinions about life. He can be left alone in the home for a few hours with no issues. Story
Hi, I'm Daisy!  I’m a tiny, 8-lb Maltese/Poodle blend girl and I'm 10 years old. My hearing and vision aren't what they used to be, but I don’t let that stop me from exploring. Now I just need to discover a very special, patient family who will love me just the way I am. Favorite Things: Daisy LOVES her food and loves soaking up attention. Toys and playing are not really her thing, but exploring her surroundings is high on her list of favorite activities. She also loves being around her person and will sit next to them as much as possible (and extra close in bed at night). Training & Manners:  Daisy is working on her house training and will need to be taken outside frequently.  Due to her vision, she doesn’t do well on a leash so will need more practice with leash walking, and her hearing sometimes makes it difficult to communicate with her. The good news is that she is highly food-motivated to improve her manners.  She is verbal when she wants food but is otherwise quiet. Health and Care: Daisy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. She is on daily drops for dry eyes and takes her monthly preventatives for fleas and heartworm, along with medications for anxiety. She will likely require professional grooming every 6-8 weeks to keep her looking and feeling her best. Other Animals:  Daisy has experience with other small dogs and cats.  Children: This gentle, curious gal would do best in a home with respectful teens only.    Ideal Home: Daisy would do well in an apartment, condo or single-family home.  Her “dream” home would be a house without steps (although she is tiny enough to carry) and no pool (for safety reasons with her vision impairment).  A fenced yard would keep her safe and give her room for her adventurous explorations. She has free rein of her foster home and can be left for several hours without issues. She sleeps in the “people bed” at night and is happy to cozy up to her person. Overall: Daisy is a great and loyal companion asking only for food, love, attention, and patience (and creativity when it comes to communication.)  Could special Daisy be the one for you?
