Story
Meet Kiwi! This beautiful purebred Old English Sheepdog turns 1 year old on January 12th and we would LOVE to see her celebrate her birthday in a forever home 🎂 Kiwi has been with our rescue for about 6 months after coming to us from a breeder with a leg injury. What followed was a long road: a very complex surgery at UF Small Animal Hospital, 2–3 months in an external fixator, and lots of patience, rehab, and love. Kiwi and her foster are absolute troopers — and thanks to an incredible veterinary team, she’s now good as new! 💪✨ 🥝 About Kiwi: • High energy, curious, and very smart • Likes to be the “alpha” • Great with dogs • Strong herding instincts and very vocal (she loves to howl 🎶) • Total Velcro dog — wants to be with her person ALL day • Best for a home where someone is home more often • Can open doors & gates, will counter-surf, and will bark if she thinks something delicious is up there • Fully potty trained, but must be crated when alone • Loves older kids (teens & up) — not a fit for little ones • Enjoys being outside and exploring; a fenced yard would be amazing • Sock lover — keep them picked up 😉🧦 • Playful, fun, affectionate, and a great car rider. 🩺 Medical & Adoption Info: 🥝 Spayed 🥝 Vaccinated 🥝 Microchipped 🥝 Heartworm negative 🥝 Currently 52 lbs and still growing (female OES typically reach 60–80 lbs). 📍 Located in New Port Richey, FL 💲 Adoption fee: $500 Kiwi has overcome so much and deserves a home that understands her intelligence, energy, and breed characteristics. If you’re looking for a loyal, larger-than-life companion and are ready to embrace the glorious chaos of an Old English Sheepdog — Kiwi may be your perfect match 🐾 Apply here: www.love4pawsfl.org/adopt

Story
🎄 Bennet – 5-Year-Old Male Red Goldendoodle (~50 lbs) Bennet was also surrendered to us by a breeder just two weeks ago after living his whole life in outdoor kennels. Now he’s discovering the joys of indoor living — soft blankets, warm spaces, and gentle human hands. His sweet personality grows brighter every day, and he feels most secure with another confident dog to guide him. Bennet thrives in calm environments with predictable routines and a safe spot to decompress. He LOVES toys and is the sweetest, most submissive boy. His fur is tightly curled and very poodle like, his body is as well. Home Requirements: • Adult-only home • Securely fenced yard • Must have another friendly dog in the home Medical & Adoption Info: Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Fostered in the Tampa Bay Area. Adoption fee: $400 👉 Apply: www.love4pawsfl.org/adopt

Story
Meet Buck! 🤎🦌 This handsome chocolate Labradoodle / Border Collie mix is truly something special. With 50% Border Collie genes, Buck is not your average doodle — he’s incredibly smart, (will be) high-energy, and eager to learn, making him a wonderful match for an active home that values training and enrichment. Buck is a total cuddle bug and, in true Labrador fashion, loves to please 🤎 He can be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he quickly becomes a loyal, devoted companion who wants nothing more than to be close to his people. He’s confident, playful, and loves running around the yard with his foster brothers. Buck would do especially well in a home with another dog, ideally one year or older, that he can “pack in” with and learn from. Thanks to those Border Collie smarts, Buck already knows how to sit, put on his “leash,” and understands that sitting (not jumping!) is the best way to get attention. He’s a fast learner and would be an excellent candidate for agility work, advanced training, or even therapy work 🐕 ✨ Buck was born 10/16/25, so he is 3 months old, currently weighs about 20 lbs, and is expected to be approximately 50–60 lbs full grown. He is neutered, has age-appropriate vaccines, and is microchipped. 📍 Buck is currently fostered in Naples, but a meet & greet in Sarasota may be possible for an approved adopter. 💰 Adoption fee: $500 📩 Apply to adopt Buck here: 👉 www.love4pawsfl.org/adopt Looking for an intelligent, affectionate, active pup to grow and learn with? Buck might just be your perfect match
