Story
Lovey is a smart, affectionate boy. He is an FB1 sheepadoodle, and we are heartbroken to rehome him. He needs a committed, loving home, where he is the only dog.Lovey likes cuddling and taking long walks. He is leash trained and potty trained. He responds really well to positive training and loves to protect his family. He also loves treats! He is calm and gentle with older kids but he is a little anxious around the loud noises of small children. He is gentle to small animals like cats, rabbits or guinea pigs, but he prefers to be the only dog. Lovey likes to show he's "listening" by cocking his head one way then the other. He is not a big barker, but he does let his pack know if someone is approaching the door or a window, with one big woof. One of his quirks is playing hide-and-seek. He jumps in the air and gives dog grins when his family plays hide-and-seek with him. It is one of his favorite games. He also loves fetch.

Story
Hello, my name is Milo. I am three years old and I am a sweet and loving boy. I love nothing more than going on walks and running around a big yard. I enjoy cuddling and being loved on. I am a bigger dog, but I like to think I am a lap dog. I am good with other dogs, cats, and small children. One thing to know about me is that I am very tall, and sometimes I like to sneak food from countertops when I think nobody is looking. My current parents love me very much, but I do have separation anxiety. Unfortunately, they now have to travel often and work during the day, which makes it hard for them to give me the time and comfort I need. I am also not a big fan of car rides. I take Trazadone when I am in situations that make me anxious or uncomfortable. I would do best in a home with a big back yard and with someone who can be home with me more often. I am a loving, loyal companion who just wants attention, comfort, and a family to call my own. I promise to return that love every single day.

Layla is a very pretty Goldendoodle who came to Misty Eyes from a puppy mill, where she was a breeding machine. She is somewhat shy and anxious at first. Despite her fear and anxiety, Layla is good natured and friendly, once she relaxes. She gets along with other dogs well and enjoys back scratches and ear rubs. Layla will need continued training to overcome her fear of entering and exiting the car and to understand what life as a family dog is all about. She has made great strides on leash walking, trusting and following humans with practiced commands. She is crate/potty trained. She has experience being around various dogs, cats, and children. She thrives with a confident dog companion, following their cues to learn dog life. Because of her anxiety, Layla is a flight risk, so will need to be treated with extra caution until she feels comfortable in her new life. Due to her extreme anxiety and inclination to flee, Layla will need a securely fenced yard and an adopter who can commit to working with her to overcome her fear. She may never be an extremely social dog, but can be a great companion to her immediate family and familiar friends.
