Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.adoption fee $250.00 Scarlett is an 8-year-old Standard Poodle looking for a calm, loving home where she can truly shine. Scarlett prefers a quiet environment, so a household without young children would be the best fit for her. If you have another pet in the home, he/she should be calm and out of the rough & tumble play phase.  Scarlett enjoys going for walks and does well on a leash. She is crate trained and mostly potty trained—any recent small accidents are likely due to the transition into foster care. With consistency and patience, she should continue to do very well. Her foster family describes Scarlett as a big cuddle bug who loves being close to her people. She will never turn down gentle pets, scratches, or quiet companionship. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who enjoys a peaceful lifestyle, Scarlett may be the perfect match. A soft heart, a calm soul, and lots of love to give—Scarlett is ready for her forever home. New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
