Story
Weight: 44Lbs Meet Nahla 🐾❤️ Nahla is a truly special girl who once had a very loving home. She was deeply cared for and cherished, but due to personal circumstances, her family had to make the incredibly difficult decision to let her go so she could find a home that better fits her needs. Through it all, Nahla has remained the sweet, gentle soul everyone adores. She may take a moment to warm up when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, her affectionate and loving nature really shines. She enjoys being close to her people and has so much love to give. Because Nahla likes to take her time getting to know new friends, she’ll need to meet everyone in the household before going home. If there are other dogs, she would like to meet them too to make sure everyone is a good match. A home without tiny tots would help her feel most comfortable and relaxed. With a little patience and understanding, Nahla will blossom into the loyal, affectionate companion she truly is. She’s ready to start her next chapter with someone who will give her the love and stability she deserves. If you’re looking for a sweet, devoted girl to share your heart and home with, Nahla might just be the one. 🐶💕 Dogs: Must meet all pups! Cats: Unknown Kids: No tiny tots, must meet all household members!

Story
Annabelle is a 6- year old St. Bernard-Poodle mix adopted as a puppy from a breeder. She has lived with our family her entire life and has been raised around cats, other dogs, and children. She is a mix of high energy and lazy bones. She loves walks and sleeping (snoring) on the couch as she believes she is a lap dog. She has been through obedience training, but requires a firm hand as her high energy sometimes leads her into trouble. As a big girl she can escape regular crates and chain link fences, so she would require either a large country lot or 6’ fenced yard.we are rehoming her due to issues with her size and our youngest who has cerebral palsy and autism. She is much loved and we are looking for a family who can spoil her rotten while also keeping her out of any real mischief!

Story
Hi I'm King a sweet happy young boy at 1 years of age! I would really love a home with another dog! I came in with an 8# dog and he gave me all of my confidence. Seriously! I was very shy to meet some of the staff at first but as soon as I saw my little buddy was cool with them, I was so happy go lucky and now we're best friends! However, my shelter staff can't adopt me, and my little pal has already found a home so I need a new friend. I am definitely a follower and will do whatever the other dog in the home is doing. I'm such a good boy who loves car rides. When you first meet me I will be a little shy, but if you want to see me shine bring in your K-9 companion to help show me the ropes! I did leave on a trial adoption for almost two weeks that, unfortunately, did not work out in my favor. I was a little hesitant to warm up to the man in the home, but I eventually did! I did well with their 6 year old child. I was housetrained, except I did have a couple of poop accidents when they would leave me by myself. I was still adjusting to their home so please don't blame me too much. They did not crate me when they left, so while I did not destroy anything, crate training me will still be a good idea, especially while I am adjusting to your home (so I don't have accidents)! My trial adopters even took me for a good grooming and it took me a little bit to warm up to the groomer, I am rocking a new haircut now!Give the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me! If not, stop by the shelter at 1048 S 325 E in Pierceton, IN 46562 to look at me! No appointments necessary!

Story
Tucker is around 4 years old. He is fully house trained and good with dogs and cats. He will relax when alone and stay in crate if needed. He loves rawhides and stuffed animals. He will walk on leash but does pull if another dog walks by so would benefit from training. He does smile, pictured, and it can look aggressive but he wouldn't hurt a fly. No biting or rough playing. He knows to sit and to lay down. He does not door dart unless he sees another dog. Would make a great pet if you have the extra time. We just cant get him out enough to walk or play fetch due to work schedules and kids activities. Please reach out if you have questions.
