🐾 Meet WINSTON — The sweetest boy back through no fault of his own Poor, sweet Winston has had a heartbreaking few weeks, but he’s still the same gentle, loving soul he’s always been. This 4 year old, 72 lb neutered boy first arrived at a Tennessee shelter in early April after being surrendered due to his owner’s declining health. He was immediately marked URGENT for capacity, but his luck seemed to turn when he was adopted on 4/8/26. Sadly, Winston was returned a few days later — not because of anything he did, but because his adopters didn’t check with their landlord. He’s “too big,” they said. So now he’s back at the shelter, confused, still hopeful, and once again URGENT for capacity. And he deserves so much better. 🌟 Why Winston Is an Amazing Dog • Friendly, social, and gentle — he attended a small playgroup on 4/5/26 and showed a sweet, dainty playstyle. • Likely house trained — he kept to himself and maintained clean habits. • Cream/Black/Tan coat with the most soulful eyes. • 4 years, 1 week old — the perfect age for companionship. • Heartworm NEGATIVE — a huge plus for adopters. • Vaccinated & neutered Winston is the kind of dog who just wants to belong to someone again. He’s calm, affectionate, and easy to love.
