Pet location: Wayside Waifs CampusMy friends at Wayside say:-During my time at Wayside, I have enjoyed being around other dogs. -I am from a puppy mill situation. I will likely need extra time to adjust to home life. I have lived with other dogs but have not socialized with people. Things like walking on a leash and going through doorways can be challenging for me. Adopting me will be extremely rewarding, but I need time to learn.My home needs are:-I need a home with kids 6 years old and older since I tend to be nervous around new people and loud noises. -I must go to a home that already has another dog so they can show me the ropes. -I must meet other dogs in the home before adoption to make sure they can “show me the ropes.”-I feel more comfortable around new people when I have a doggie friend to build my confidence. Wayside requires you to bring your dog with you when you come to meet me. -For my safety, I need to go home on an anti-slip collar called a martingale collar. For your convenience, we sell them in our retail store, Whiskers and Wags. -Wayside recommends that I have a fenced-in yard .
