Sam is a sensitive, kind and loving dog. Sensitive in that he is a great reader of emotional moments. Always ready to lick you into better spirits. Sam is very extroverted and enjoys the company of humans and other dogs alike. He loves to cuddle and getting petted. Sam is bonded to his brother, Frodo. They are a warm, cuddly dynamic duo and a joy to be around.

Story
Frodo is a great, friendly, human loving dog. He loves to cuddle and enjoys going outside. Whenever I call his name, he readily comes to me (Chariots of Fire always plays in my head). Frodo is bonded to his brother, Sam. Frodo and Sam, make a wonderful dynamic dual of warmth and love. They are adorable and love love love getting petted. Happily, they enjoy playing with and being around other dogs.

Elowen is a 1-year-old, 70 lb Old English Sheepdog with a goofy personality that is starting to shine more every day. Rescued from a puppy mill, she is learning what life as a loved family dog is all about. She does well in her crate and is making good progress with potty training when kept on a regular schedule, though she may occasionally have a nervous pee while adjusting to new situations. She walks decently on a leash and is settling into home life more and more each day. Elowen absolutely loves following around the resident doodle and whippet, trying to join in on playtime even if she’s still figuring out exactly how to play. Watching her confidence grow and her silly side come out has been incredibly rewarding. Elowen is a big, sweet girl who is continuing to come out of her shell and learn how to just be a dog. Elowen is fostered in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
