Brady is a sweet boy and would make a great addition to any home. Our dogs are available for adoption when they have been spayed or neutered and have been fully vetted. Please call the shelter at 513-753-9252 for further information on any of the ones you may be interested in. You can visit them at the shelter and can place a hold on the one you want by placing a deposit down on him/her.

Oonafemale4-5 years old12 lbsBelieved to be a poodle/jack russell mix Oona is such a sweetie and so excited to hang out with other dog friends and people. In her kennel she likes to bark at us like she is warning us but then you go in and she is like, just kidding, hold me. Oona came from a home with a lot of other small dogs and has done well with the small dogs we've introduced her too. She even did well meeting a large poodle. Oona also loves her snacks and her begging game is spot on! Oona is leash trained and we imagine this girl would absolutely love to snuggle with you. Oona is vaccinated, flea & tick treated, will be microchipped, spayed in Dec and will be tested for Heartworm and Lyme before adoption. Wilma's adoption fee is $250.You can apply on our website www.highlandhumanesociety.org OR stop into the shelter 12- 5 pm Tuesday through Friday or 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday to meet who is available at that time. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before we close to ensure we have time to do the adoption.Take advantage of our foster-to-adopt program, where you can take any dog 4 mos and older home for a week to make sure it is a good fit before committing to adoption.

He will need someone with a lot of time and patience to allow him the time and space he needs to start trusting you. Salty Dog will need a secure fenced in yard where he can be safe as he is learning to trust people. He would do best in a quieter home with 2 or fewer dogs so he can get the attention he needs. Would not be good in an apartment. Salty Dog is $300 to adopt, about 22 pounds, and 5 years old. Ziggy was a beautiful gift to me from my husband after finishing medical school and we have loved him dearly. However, after our son was born it became evident with my schedule as a resident doctor that we could not provide Ziggy all the time and attention he deserves. He is wonderful with our one year old. He is very affectionate and friendly with people. He loves to snuggle as much as he loves to fetch his favorite toy. He needs a family who will take him on daily walks and make him apart of the family.

While he has made incredible strides, he is still cautious around new strangers and will need a family willing to earn his trust with patience, kindness, and time.
