I'm a total cuddle bug, I give amazing hugs, and if you move from one room to another, don't worry—I was planning on going there too. I just really love being with my humans. I'm pretty laid back most of the time, but I also enjoy getting outside, going for walks (I'm a good girl on a leash!), and I've recently discovered how much fun it is to play with other dogs. My buddy Buddy has been teaching me that wrestling and zoomies are pretty awesome, so I'd love a home with another friendly dog to hang out with. I also have a little secret...I'm more athletic than I look! Apparently I've been watching the deer, because I figured out how to jump a fence just like they do. So I'll need a home with a tall, secure fence and people who will keep an eye on me when I'm outside. Let's talk about food...I LOVE it! Don't worry, I'm not food aggressive at all—I just get a little too excited when it's mealtime. I even eat from a puzzle bowl because I think every meal should come with a fun challenge. I think I'd be happy with respectful kids, an active family, and people who want me to be part of their everyday life. I'm not looking to be a backyard dog—I want to be where my family is. I'll happily be your walking buddy, your couch buddy, your errand buddy...basically your everything buddy. One more thing. People sometimes get excited because I'm a doodle mix, but I hope my forever family chooses me because of who I am, not just what I look like. I'm loyal, affectionate, goofy, and ready to love my people with my whole heart. Meet Manilow. He is a big boy at about 80 pounds and the vet estimates that he is about 1 year old. We think that he is an Irish Wolfadoodle and he is as sweet and gentle as can be. Does well with other dogs and loves to be near his person. He sits for pets and scratches and enjoys squeaky toys.  Manilow requires regular grooming to keep his gentlemanly look; and does very well there, from bathing to nails to ears and everything in between. He is simply a delight.  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. Step 2:     PawPrints will review the application, verifying Vet and personal references as well as landlord requirements/restrictions (if applicable) Step 3:     IF your application is approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet for you to meet the pet. ​Step 4:    If the meet and greet goes well, we will schedule the home visit.           I may only have 3 legs… but I promise I have 4x the love to give. My name is Hagrid, I’m 3 years old, and I recently had to have my front leg amputated because of an old injury that was never treated. It wasn’t my fault — but I’m not letting it define me. I’m healing, I’m strong, and I’m a sweet, incredibly happy boy! Please don’t look at me differently… or worse, not at all. I can still run, play, cuddle, and love just like any other dog. I can even do steps and jump up in cars!  I don’t feel sorry for myself — so you don’t have to either. I’m as sweet as they come and I absolutely love other dogs. Born around March 11, 2025, this sweet boy weighs 10.8 pounds, making him the perfect size for lap snuggles and companionship. Moe came from a hoarding situation where he was one of 29 dogs, so the big world can feel a little overwhelming at first. Because of this, he may take a few minutes to warm up to new people. But once you approach him calmly and give him a few gentle pets, you can almost see the moment he relaxes—then he quickly becomes your loyal little friend. He gets along great with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He will need to go to a home with another companion dog to help him feel comfortable and confident. Moe’s best friend here is Mitchell, and they would love to be adopted together. With a patient and loving family who will give him time to settle in, he will blossom into a devoted and affectionate companion. Moe is still learning some of the basics, including walking on a leash, but with consistency and kindness he will catch on quickly. They brought us to rescue, where I have been looking for my forever home.  I’m a friendly, happy boy who loves everyone I meet — dogs included! I get so excited to see my people that sometimes I bounce up to say hello, but it’s only because I’m so excited to be loved. I’ve got a sweet personality, a goofy side, and I’m always ready to make new friends. Even though I get excited, I have a sweet nature and just want to be close to my people. Going into a new home, I will need some minor training on showing me how to be potty trained. I like toys, playing with the other dogs in my run, and meeting new people.  Due to my breed, I will need regular brushing and grooming. My adoption fee is $400. I am neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, 4dx negative and current on proheart 12 and bravecto. Born around March 12, 2025, Myles weighs 17.6 pounds and is full of personality. He came to us as part of a 29-dog seizure where, although the dogs were cared for, they didn’t get the individual attention and socialization they needed. Despite that, Myles has proven to be incredibly friendly and people-loving. He thrives on attention and is always excited to be around his humans. Myles would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, as he truly enjoys companionship and being part of daily life. Myles has also been seen by an ophthalmologist and has cataracts in one eye. He is currently on special eye drops, and we are hopeful for improvement with continued treatment. He also has a playful side—he absolutely loves toys and is always up for some fun. Whether it’s a game of toss or just carrying his favorite toy around, he knows how to enjoy life.
