Story
James was adopted into a home with other dogs but is having difficulty with sharing the home. His adopter has made the difficult decision to rehome James. He is a 2 year old Poodle/Doberman/Akita. He is neutered and was just seen at the vet for a check up. When asked to describe James, we were told he is loving, playful and quick to learn. If you are looking to add an easy companion who prefers the company of people over other animals, send us an email at support@almosthomeri.org We are asking a donation be made to the rescue in lieu of our standard adoption fee.

Introducing Benji! Benji is a 10-month-old poodle mix with the most adorable face and the softest, curly coat that makes him look like a living teddy bear. His big, expressive eyes and floppy ears give him the sweetest, most lovable expression, and his beautiful curls only add to his charm. Benji is extremely affectionate and has that fun young-dog energy that keeps life lively. He’s a happy-go-lucky boy who bonds quickly with his person and truly just enjoys being around people. If you’re home, he’ll be perfectly content hanging out nearby and being part of whatever you’re doing. He’s playful without being over the top and has been fostered on a farm, where he’s taken all the hustle and bustle in stride. Benji gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, other dogs, and even the farm animals. He’s also very smart and already crate trained and doing well with house training. Benji is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to find a forever family who will love his sweet personality and those irresistible curls as much as we do. 🐾💛
