Story
James was adopted into a home with other dogs but is having difficulty with sharing the home. His adopter has made the difficult decision to rehome James. He is a 2 year old Poodle/Doberman/Akita. He is neutered and was just seen at the vet for a check up. When asked to describe James, we were told he is loving, playful and quick to learn. If you are looking to add an easy companion who prefers the company of people over other animals, send us an email at support@almosthomeri.org We are asking a donation be made to the rescue in lieu of our standard adoption fee.

For an application please go to: Rpacirescue.org. RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to: saveapreciouspaw@gmail.com Meet Darla, a sweet gentle girl of almost 3. Darla is actually Merle, but due to her new haircut it is hard to see that. She is fun loving easygoing and a delightful young lady. She will make anyone a great pet, we were told at the surrender that she was great with children, but we have not had time to verify. Before her adoption we will verify if she is for sure kid and cat friendly. We know she is great with other dogs. She was saved from a backyard breeder and she is just a wonderful sweet girl who is very appreciative for her new life!!! For more info please do not hesitate to contact us.

Her and her family were surrendered to precious paws by someone who was trying to breed golden doodles and realized they were in over their head and asked for help. Ivory is sweet, loving, playful, and affectionate. She enjoys being around people and loves getting attention, but she’s also happy to settle down and enjoy some quiet time. She does great with other dogs and loves having furry friends around. She’s at that perfect age where she’s still playful and curious, but she’s also beginning to develop into the wonderful young dog she’ll become. With a loving family, some patience, and plenty of affection, Ivory is going to make someone an amazing companion. She’s ready to leave puppyhood behind with a family who will love her through all of life’s adventures and give her the forever home she deserves. If you think that may be you please contact us!
