Story
Sunny, our mini Sheepadoodle, needs a new home. He was born 12/26/2024 at the Charlotte Dog Club breeders. He is a F1B breed with 75% mini poodle and 25% Old English Sheepdog mix. He is very intelligent and loves going on walks and play. He will definitely brighten up any home he is part of. Unfortunately we are unable to take him with us due to our move. We have taken the difficult decision to part with him due to our circumstances. Please reach out for more details.

Story
Adrian is 14 years old, weighs 40 lbs and is looking for a special home that understands the needs of a senior dog. Adrian is a sweet, affectionate little shadow who wants to be wherever his person is. He’s a true velcro dog, if you move, he’s right behind you. His favorite place is curled up next to you on the couch, and if he can’t be there, he will happily settle at your feet. He also loves donut-style beds and cozy enclosed spaces, and often chooses to nap in the hallway. Despite his age, Adrian still enjoys a short game of fetch if the ball is tossed right in front of him. He walks beautifully on a leash and stays right by your side. As a senior, Adrian does have some special needs. He has limited vision, especially at night, and can become disoriented. The veterinarian believes some of his pacing and nighttime howling may be related to pain, cognitive decline, or a combination of both. Because he doesn’t always know where he is and can’t see well, he may bump into furniture, walls, or other dogs. His current medications include: • Gabapentin 200 mg every 12 hours for pain (can be given up to 3 times daily if needed) • Denamarin once daily for liver support • Trazodone 100 mg at bedtime, given with Gabapentin if he is pacing or howling at night Adrian prefers soft foods, though he will occasionally crunch on treats. He isn’t very interested in toys or bones. Grooming is important for Adrian’s comfort. His coat must be kept short, especially during warm weather, as he overheats easily. Hair around his eyes should be trimmed so he can see, and his paws should be kept neat to help him maintain traction while wearing his Tiger Toes. He tolerates his ear cleaning, and regular grooming helps keep him comfortable. Adrian is looking for a calm, loving home where he can spend his golden years being someone’s constant companion. He may require a little extra care, but he gives plenty of love in return. Adrian needs someone that works from home or is home the majority of the day. He does fantastic with other dogs, but if there is another dog in the home they need to be gentle and low energy. Story
This handsome boy has made incredible progress since joining his foster family in April. Every day, he’s becoming more confident and comfortable with the world around him. Bucky has been working hard on his training, especially when it comes to meeting new people. He’s not aggressive, he’s simply cautious and will bark when he’s unsure. With patience, consistency, and positive experiences, he’s learning that strangers aren’t so scary after all. His foster family has seen huge improvements, and at adoption events and even the dog park, Bucky now happily accepts pets from new people and continues to gain confidence in new situations. As his confidence has grown, so has his personality. Bucky loves car rides and is always ready for an adventure. The dog park is one of his favorite places, and if there’s water nearby, he’ll happily splash around for as long as you’ll let him. Like many young dogs, Bucky is still working on his leash manners. At just 11 1/2 months old, he’s a strong, energetic pup, but he’s making steady progress with continued training. Bucky is looking for a family that understands building confidence takes time. He would do best with another playful, confident dog to help him continue coming out of his shell. With a little patience, you’ll be rewarded with a fun, loyal, and loving companion. Bucky’s ideal home:• Another playful dog• Someone home most of the time• No apartments• Children 12 years and older Bucky is an 11 month old German Shepherd/Standard Poodle mix weighing 60 lbs. If you think Bucky could be the perfect addition to your family, we’d love to hear from you!
