Story
Bucky will make an amazing sidekick for his future family! He just wants to be wherever his people are and be part of whatever is going on. Bucky does great with dogs of all sizes and really loves having a canine companion. Because of his playful energy, he would do best in a home with another younger, playful dog who can keep up with him and enjoys having a buddy to wrestle and play with. This boy is always ready for an adventure! He loves his daily walks, trips to the dog park, playing fetch with his favorite ball, and he’s always up for a car ride. With his breed mix and high energy, Bucky needs plenty of opportunities to exercise, explore, and burn off that puppy energy. And after a fun day? You’ll find Bucky happily crashed out for a nap!  Bucky is crate trained, potty trained, great in the car, sleeps in his crate at night and comfortable in his crate during the day while his foster family runs errands. His ideal family will have someone home most of the day, as he can struggle with separation. He’s looking for an active family who enjoys walks, adventures, playtime, and including their dog in the fun! No apartments and children must be 12 years and older.  Bucky is a 1 year old German Shepherd/Standard Poodle mix weighing 62 lbs. If you think Bucky could be the perfect addition to your family, *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2707385##

Story
Meet Harmony! A 1year old, 33 pound, Female, Doodle mix pup. Harmony, like any puppy, is a high-energy girl who is looking for her daily joys of running as fast as she can, playing with her toys and having anyone and everyone become her instant best friend. Whilst Harmony has high energy, it comes from a lack of stimulation. And we know from experience that Harmony would be an amazing dog with the proper guidance. We have had Harmony sent out to try dog athletics and obstacle courses, and she does amazing. Whilst we do our best, Harmony needs homes with a family that can give her the training, love and focus she needs. And when all is said and done, Harmony is a great cuddler. Harmony thrives on attention, and bonds quickly with anyone who gives her a chance. With a little structure and a lot of love, she’ll blossom into the loyal, affectionate companion she’s meant to be. Harmony might suit best as a sole dog of a home.Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. Story
Ideal Home -Sir Larrington has demands (of course, he does): a yard for energetic zoomies, a canine pal who enjoys romping and playing, a cozy couch for snuggles, and an open view on car-rides. -If you’re looking for a doodle to keep up with an active lifestyle, Larry is the dood. -As with all gentry, he needs a tutor to continue refining his manners and skills. Personality -Sir Larrington is adamant about affection. His hugs and cuddles are undeniable. -Don’t be fooled by his high-falootin’ name, this dood is as goofy as they come. -He enjoys his role as Neighborhood Welcome WAG-gin’, greeting humans and dogs alike on his walks. -After an inauspicious start in a local shelter, Sir Larrington quickly rose through the ranks, impressing everyone with his friendly, playful nature. -He will happily entertain himself if other playmates are busy. He will toss a ball for himself and pounce on it or gently mouth his toys as he winds down for the night. Is Sir Larrington Your Match? Sir Larrington’s adoption fee is $650. He is HW-negative, current on vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, neutered, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Sir Larrington a second chance. PECAS: Ready to Love Again Ideal Home -Pecas was surrendered to DDR after his person passed away. He is waiting for a special adopter, who will give him space and patience to adjust to his new home and people. -While he enjoys a romp in the yard or a good walk, given time, he’s also delighted to snuggle up on the sofa. -He is best suited for an experienced adult adopter or family with older teens, who can understand his signals when he needs space. -Continued training and positive reinforcement are crucial as he settles into a new environment. Personality -Pecas is sweet, snuggly, and super-smart! He is food-motivated and a quick study. -He loves having time with his people. He has done well with chill fur-buddies in his foster home, but would love to be your one-and-only! -He can’t talk, but manages to communicate very clearly! Between his body language and “grumbles,” he won't make you guess if things are not to his liking. -He tends to remove himself from the situation if he becomes uncomfortable, so adopters who can read and respect his boundaries are best. Pecas’s adoption fee is $650. He is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, neutered, and microchipped. Story
Dakota is a beautiful 1.8-year-old Pyredoodle** who was rescued from an unsafe situation and is now looking for a committed forever family. She’s about 60 lbs, spayed, vaccinated**, and still very much a playful young dog. Dakota is currently doing great with both small and large dogs and especially loves playing with her larger foster sibling. She enjoys two 30-minute walks a day and sleeps comfortably in her kennel at night. A previous adopter reported that Dakota jumped a 6-foot fence and had some issues with other dogs, but we have not seen those behaviors in her current foster home. She has also previously been reported as not good with cats, although her most recent adopter said she peacefully coexisted with one. It depends I guess. Dakota needs a family willing to provide exercise, consistency, patience, and continued training. She’s young, loving, and deserves someone committed to helping her become the wonderful dog we know she can be. And seriously... those eyelashes! **Dallas/Fort Worth, Complete your application today at Chloespetrescue.org/application Mom and dad, one is poodle and the other is a Pyr. Don’t know which was which. Adoption fee is $375

Story
I took him in from someone who could no longer keep him because I didn’t want him to end up in the shelter. He’s still a young puppy and is very sweet, playful, loving, and full of energy. He loves attention and being around people. I’m looking for a safe, loving home with someone who has enough time to give him the attention, training, exercise, and care that a puppy needs. My work schedule has become very demanding, and I want to make sure he has the best life possible with a family who can spend more time with him.

Story
Perry’s foster family reports that he has been the easiest houseguest! He is now ready to begin searching for his forever home. Perry is a calm and easygoing dog. He spends most of his day lounging around, but he will also engage in play time. He loves playing with toys and will sometimes try to play with another small dog. He is an independent boy, but when he wants attention, he’s not shy to show it. He will gently put his front two legs up and soak in all the pets he can. He also has the best house manners, as he is quiet, potty trained, and kennel trained. Perry could go to a home as an only dog or with another small calm dog(s) who matches his energy level. He is not a good fit for children under high school age. His current foster home doesn’t have cats, but the area we rescued him from has plenty, so he may be fine with cats. Perry is a 2 year old Shih Tzu/Poodle/Miniature Schnauzer mix weighing 14.8 lbs. If you are interested in adopting him, please submit an application at rescuerowinc.org! *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours.
