Note: As a bonded pair, Libby and Murphy must be adopted together.Meet Murphy, a 10-year-old Old English Sheepdog looking for a peaceful place to spend his golden years. This gentle senior joined us after his owner passed away and is the definition of a `soul dog` who asks for little more than a soft bed and a quiet corner to call his own.Murphy arrived with his best friend Libby, and they would love to stay together. If he joins a home with an existing dog, he prefers a calm, peaceful co-existence. As we don`t have a history of him with cats or children, slow and structured introductions are the best way to help him feel secure.As a distinguished senior, Murphy will need regular vet wellness exams to monitor some liver elevations and potential future arthritis management. He’s already feeling much better after a recent dental cleaning and the removal of a bothersome skin tag. While he currently has a short haircut, he will need regular brushing and professional grooming to keep his coat healthy and fluffy as it grows.If you have plenty of love for a senior gentleman, Murphy is waiting to meet you.Murphy is neutered and has received core vaccinations (bordetella, canine distemper, rabies), flea + tick preventative, dewormed, and is microchipped.If you are interested in adopting Murphy, reach out to us at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org.
