Oaklee is well mannered & respectful of his dog friends. He tries to initiate play, but isn`t quite sure how. He doesn`t realize his size & can be quite comical when running! He`s fully house & crate trained, if you can find one large enough for him, or you can use gates... he doesn`t try to jump (or step) over them. He has a history of eating socks, so he`s only allowed toys that are extremely durable, he loves his benebones! He`s working on leash manners & getting better everyday. He`s a little unsure of new people & barks to show he`s uncomfortable but once he warms up & knows he can trust you, he`ll be your shadow & follow you everywhere. He`s looking for a patient home that will continue his training & understands his fear of new things/ changes and will help him work through those.

This handsome 8-year-old poodle mix is an absolute sweetheart who has quickly won hearts with his gentle personality and affectionate nature. His little tail seems to have only one speed: nonstop wagging! Biff has been a perfect gentleman in his foster home. He's doing great in his kennel, knows how to use a doggy door, and loves nothing more than curling up beside his people for a cozy nap. He walks beautifully on a leash, enjoys car rides, and is always happy to tag along for whatever adventure the day brings. As Biff settles in, he does wear a belly band, especially with several other dogs around, but so far he has been wonderfully well-mannered indoors. He's taking all these changes in stride and showing everyone what a sweet, easygoing companion he is. Biff has been diagnosed with Cushing's disease, which will require ongoing medication management. He has a veterinary appointment on Monday to determine the best treatment plan moving forward. One side effect of Cushing's is an increased appetite, and Biff definitely loves his snacks! His future family will need to help manage his diet, but the good news is that he absolutely loves toys, making them a perfect reward and enrichment tool.
