Story
Allison(Allie)is a special girl that needs a special adopter. She was owner surrendered due to her extreme shyness/skittish behavior. When I arrived to pick her up she wouldn't come out from under the bed. She also only pottied on peepads. I'm assuming that was simply due to the location. The couple lived on an extremely busy road. When she came into rescue, I took her immediately to a foster home that had tons of experience with Collies. Allison has thrived there, although she's earned herself the nick name "little Napoleon" because she enjoys being alpha. Allie has now been in foster home since October 31st & her foster parents have done an amazing job! Allie will always be a bit quirky, but she has come a long way and is quite confident now, and getting braver everyday. We're going to be very selective in finding her the best possible fit for her needs. Experience with Shelties is a huge plus. Secure fence is required. No small children please and she would do best with pups that are her own size.
