Cody is a sweet, affectionate 3-year-old poodle who loves cuddles, being close to his people, and one-on-one attention. He’s house-trained, calm indoors, and easygoing once settled. He gets along well with other dogs he’s met and could thrive in a home with an existing, laid-back dog (especially another small or medium one). He doesn’t initiate rough play, so he prefers calmer companionship over high-energy games. Cody forms strong bonds and thrives best as the center of attention, making a single-dog home or one with an already-established dog the perfect fit for him to feel secure and happy. He’s a loyal, loving boy ready for a dedicated family!

Story
Beaux is approximately 10 years old. He came into our family about 4–6 months ago after his owner — a hospice patient — passed away. My daughter is a hospice nurse and took Beaux in temporarily so he wouldn’t be left without care. Beaux adjusted with grace during a very emotional transition. Beaux does best in a peaceful environment and would be ideal for someone looking for a loyal senior companion. Beaux is very sweet and affectionate and is currently in Orange County, CA. Beaux would thrive in: a calm household, a home with someone who appreciates senior dogs, a low-stress environment. Beaux deserves a soft landing for this next chapter; a place where he can relax, feel safe and secure, be cherished, and feel settled.
