Name:  Maxwell          Best Guess for Breed:  Poodle mix    Best Guess for Age:  3 years as of Sept. 2026          SEX: Male   Approximate Weight:  49lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  Rural shelter; needs DC area foster or forever home!   Maxwell is Looking For:  Maxwell is a handsome boy looking for his forever home! He is eager for sniffy trotting walks and romps in parks and all the adventures his new humans can dream up. Making pup pals along the way would be great. Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed - yes, those too! But you know what he wants most of all? To know where he belongs, to be safe and loved. Maxwell has so much to give to his humans - adoring gazes, love, and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Can you see him trotting by your side?
