Calla is a gentle, goofy girl who loves her people and is happiest quietly being part of the family. She’s calm and easygoing indoors, with the occasional surprise zoomie to show off her silly side! She’s sensitive to storms and loud noises and does best with a quiet space of her own when things feel overwhelming. Calla takes time to warm up and needs patience, reassurance, and a calm environment to feel safe. Calla’s ideal home is with another pup in the home that could be her mellow brother or sister. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
