Meet Copper, a 7-month-old Poodle mix weighing around 15 lbs. He was recently trapped after spending a few weeks running loose around the city of Zillah, and he’s still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place.Copper is very shy and nervous right now, taking his time to feel comfortable with new people and surroundings. Because of this, he would do best in a calm home without young children, where he can settle in at his own pace. With patience, consistency, and gentle reassurance, Copper will slowly begin to build trust and confidence.Though he may be timid at first, Copper has so much potential to blossom into a loving and loyal companion. He just needs someone willing to give him the time and understanding he deserves to truly feel at home.This pet is available for adoption on 3/25/26 at 10:00AM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
